Me, a trans guy, almost cried today when my mom called me over saying "I wanna show you a picture of the cutest little boy", then proceeds to show me a photo of me as a kid🥲
The fact that there are transphobes that think pronouns are an “alphabet people thing” is just, no. Like know what youre talking about then come argue 💀💀
I just argued with someone a few minutes ago who was telling me "there's only two pronouns" and that it's "completely scientific" under a Demi Lovato related video. They're just words, bro.
“My niece is in 2nd grade...and they’re teaching her pronouns” **AUDIBLE GASP** they’re teaching her something that she should know because it’s kind of very important to the language that SHE SPEAKS
FR like it’s not even important in the long run. Go find something that makes YOU happy instead of shitting on other peoples happiness because you’re unable to give it to yourself, like fuck man grow up 😭
This is random but one of my older friends and they said "I ordered a pride flag early June and it said it would arrive July 1st and honestly, that's so homophobic"
The times I think asking people about their genitalia is ok: you are a doctor and it is relevant, you have to wax/shave them as a nurse or beautician, you need to help them out with something because they can't do it for themselves, you want to play with theirs and they want to play with yours.
They're teaching kids pronouns in school? What's next, nouns??? Adjectives?? Edit: war in the replies, as expected. A lot of transphobia and mentions of stuff like eating disorders. Read at your own risk
I cant believe they're teaching children about pronouns...the audacity 😤 Next they'll teach them about adjectives or adverbs. How dare these kids grow up to be both progressive and grammatically correct 🙄 /sarcasm
I had my top surgery while my husband was deployed. He recently was able to visit for a week and I was 2 months post-op. His first words: "You look like you." I almost cried in the airport. Held it in because I didn't want to freak out our kids. I'm so lucky to have the most loving and supportive partner ever.
When I was a kid, I ‘used my imagination’ to pretend I was a dragon, because I had decided dragons “didn’t need to be a he or she”, and I related to that… if I had been taught about pronouns and gender identity when I was in second grade, I’d probably be less anxious and a lot more comfortable with myself today. Also, dragons are cool.
Congratulations for partaking in gender stereotypes. Having short hair doesn't make one less of a girl. Having long hair doesn't make one less of boy. Just be yourself kids :)
Sorry for being this way, but I can't stop myself from saying this. Sorry. The parent is the only one using a pronoun in this situation. The _that_ in this context is actually a determiner, not a pronoun. They are grammatically distinct parts-of-speech. For example, _it_ is not a determiner so "Look at it bird" is ungrammatical.
My son's face when he saw the results of his top surgery is forever one of the most special moments in his life. I have never seen him So happy and it was so wonderful to share that moment. :)
@Dabonie Jabroni My son is 21. I am not sure why you would be on a page of a transgender man if you are not a troll. Why you would assume a child is having this surgery is beyond ignorant. Get educated and keep your twisted opinions for others like yourself.
In Modern English the personal pronouns include: "I," "you," "he," "she," "it," "we," "they," "them," "us," "him," "her," "his," "hers," "its," "theirs," "our," "your." Personal pronouns are used in statements and commands, but not in questions; interrogative pronouns (like "who," "whom," "what") are used there. Since it has been pointed out these are also 100% vailed and loved pronouns the world needs to learn and use if one prefers Neopronouns are a category of new (neo) pronouns that are increasingly used in place of “she,” “he,” or “they” when referring to a person. Some examples include: xe/xem/xyr, ze/hir/hirs, and ey/em/eir.
as a cis woman airports are terrifying enough I can't imagine how it's like having to expose your personal life like that just to go thru a security check. never noticed my privilege in these small moments.

@@kellabdjfoo There’s this transphobic myth of trans people being out to purposely trick people (for some reason? I’ve never seen a transphobe give an actual reason lmao). A specific transphobic myth is that trans women go out and seduce/trick men into “making them gay” 🙄
@@JMZReview See this is what i like to see! I love seeing brain cells being used! :D I could go into specifics about what OP's reply means on a psychological level, but, i don't think this is the crowd that would appreciate it, or even understand it. : /

@Jameezplays Exactly. Everyone has a preference. Lesbians only date women, gay people only date men. So what’s the big deal if I as a women only want to date a biological male? It’s all about preference. That doesn’t mean I hate people that aren’t biologically male in the dating world, it just means that I only have attraction to biological men

@Dabonie JabroniYes Ms. (Assuming pronouns since you obviously don’t care about misgendering people) Jabroni, all us LGBTQ+ folk secretly worship satan and offer cisgender men as sacrifice every Thursday. Every single person who just doesn’t feel like being their assigned sex at birth, being a man and loving a man, some who just don’t feel romantic attraction- all of us are all in a cult. We aren’t just normal people who just have different feelings of attraction and gender identity (Kinda bad phrasing, sorry. I’m one of those people who know exactly what I mean but since there’s no word for it and I don’t wanna type an essay I’ll just use bad phrasing) than what is the societal norm.
@Dabonie Jabroni And they know what they identify as, if you know your pronouns are (I still have no clue, I’ll just guess again) he/him then why can’t a transgender person know their pronouns are something other than their born sex? (Sex is not the same as identity, just in case you were going to use that) What would we even worship if we were a cult, what would we do? Force cis men to like another guy?? Also do you have any idea how many people are a part of LGBTQ+? That’d be a huge cult. Oh don’t even get me started on including allies. We’d run out of cisgender men real quick.
@@merran3456 Just wanna correct you where you wrote 'we are just normal human beings with different preferences' being lgbtq+ isn't a preference, therefore using the word 'preference' for our sexuality is like saying we have a conscious choice in it. Which we obviously don't
@Dabonie Jabroni bro,,,i just looked at your comment history lmao,,,, you literally go out of your way to visit lgbtq+ channels and videos to leave some pathetic comments about your weird ass tin foil hat theory! i understand that it might be a little hard to fit actual reason and logic into your tiny brain since it’s full of utter dog shit, but seeing that you spend your time shouting at a brick wall, i guess you really are the true victim here! hope your brain doesn’t bounce around too much from all the empty room in your airhead, chum!
Imagine being grown asl and getting upset that a second grader is starting to learn about pronouns. What do y’all want these kids to refer each other as?? Anyways, glad that isn’t me. 😎🤏🏽
The funniest thing about them saying that is that... aren’t you supposed to teach kids rules? Laws? Social ethiquette at 7/8???? Come on! Are they supposed to use their immagination for that too??? 🙄🙄🙄 also, they can use their immagination....without knowing anything-cause you can't teach them- so what are they even gonna imagine!?
lmaooooo last time i went through tsa, the lady was oh, it shows there's something on your chest, and without thinking i said, "OH THATS MY BINDER" and lifted up my shirt to show her. She pulled my shirt back down and asked me not to do that
I’ve been watching trans and lgbtq+ content for so many years and I’m still a straight cis, it didn’t manipulate me at all and it just helped me be educated
There's a lovely video by ContraPoints called "Are Traps Gay" that goes over the history of the word and why it's bad to joke about that, as well as reasons why it's factually incorrect. It's a great vid!

As someone who's mother tongue isn't englisch, I found that one reaction to learning pronouns so funny on multiple levels ... like while learning englisch pronouns are so completely basic knowledge. Not to mention that I learned englisch pronouns roughly at the same time in school as the german ones and that was in first grade! Imagine their outrage 😂😂
@@LaraGroll Exactly!! I still remember certain phrases so we could remember them better, for example: he, she, it das "s" muss mit (he, she, it, the "s" has to stay) referring to verbs with these three pronouns which end on an "s". I can even envision the page in my folder from years ago, simply because learning pronouns in englisch was something so basic that we repeated it pretty much every week from grade one to five. And then these people come along and .... I just can't at this point, this is so ridiculous🤣
Yeah right? I personally don't remember how I learned them, but for Italian they made us analyse every word of every phrase for years, so with all this ignorance I kinda risk to become a grammar Nazi
@@lauragrigoletto906 Me too (no pun intended, even though I'm German)! But what makes me laugh the most (and bang my head against the nearest wall at the same time) is that I bet that in the five minutes following the shown interview they were 100% using pronouns to describe someone or something in their surroundings. I bet. And it is so stupid. 😂🤦🏻♀️
"There are only two pronouns" "Yep. Two." The way she says "two" sounds so satire, just because it's such a stupid thing to say, but I know for a fact she's saying that seriously
Ugh I wish everyone could be comfortable being topless, both women and men, cis and trans. Without fear of discrimination and harassment. Made me real happy to see that tiktok.
As a trans individual, I've struggled with the whole "I'm not female but I love feminine things" for years due to being told I'd never be seen as trans if I chose to wear "feminine" clothes and or makeup. My own brother pushed that down my throat when I tried coming out at like 15 or 16. It took me 23 years to figure out who I am. 7 or 8 years of that being me questioning and or shoving my own truth down because I was afraid no one would accept me. To this day, I still question myself but I remind myself that this is who I am.
@@omiimicrowave560 I know that. I hate female pronouns so much that they legit make me uncomfortable. The questioning wasn't on weather I was a girl or not, it was on weather I was male or non-binary, if not both. I like using he/they pronouns and feel like myself when people use them when talking to me.
Same tbh, i know 100% i'm not female, but my issue is wheter i'm male or masc nb, i don't relate 100% to the macho culture men have where i live and it's weird to call myself a man seriously (i'm ok with male tho). I know i preffer he/him pronouns so there's that, there's a big chance i'm autistic and that has a role on my gender wackiness so i just accepted it. I've had so many famly members go back on their support and talk shit and deadname me on my back, their justification is that i act too female and like men (female as in, i like sewing, doing my nails and dolls). At this point i just tell them to fuck themselves and get a life
You should be able to wear whatever you want without worry or judgement, it's those stupid labels like "fem" and "masc" on clothing and other things that is the problem. It's ruining our comfort and creativity to dress how we want when everything is ALWAYS associated with gender...
The irony of that lady saying " you're teaching them to be a follower!" when she's literally surrounded by ppl who've made MAGA their personality is just....
They've always been projection, everything they accuse others of they do every single one of them spouts the same tired conspiracies they heard on Facebook then tell everyone else they're sheep

“They’re teaching our kids pronouns to turn them trans!” “Why do the LGBTQ+ use pronouns?! We don’t need (or “I don’t use”) pronouns!” *GASP* They’re teaching children an important part of language, and the LGBTQ+ community uses that important part of language! Seriously, though. Did these people not go to school, or did they forget what pronouns are, or...? Because “they” “our” “I” and “we” are all pronouns, last I checked, and the people are using those words *in their questions* and not realizing. Or they realize and don’t think anyone else will notice.
As demigirl, i can confirm that the gender demon comes and steals our gender, it was like 'im stealing your gender' but then I barked at it so it ran away and only stole half my gender edit: GUYS IT CAME BACK AND STOLE THE REST, I'M AGENDER NOWHDHF

People in the first video: they shouldn't be teaching pronouns, the children are too young! The same people, pushing their religious beliefs onto children the same age: well, that doesn't count 😊
If they were anything like the Church I grew up in, those parents did a ceremony in front of the entire church to dedicate their infant to God when the kid was only a couple month's old.
@Dabonie Jabroni What the fuck does that mean? If anything they’re sticking their heads into sand, which is stupid and sand will definitely get into their judgemental eyes. They’re avoiding the reality that no matter how hard they hate on LGBTQ, it won’t stop. We exist, if you hate us go ahead but if you can’t accept that we exist then you’re avoiding the reality.

Story time😍 Ok, so I took a summer writing class last week and the majority of the class was part of the LGBTQ+ or an ally, but there was one EXTREMELY transphobic/homophobic girl. This person asked for everybody’s pronouns and we all replied normally- but this girl decides to say “I don’t have pronouns. That’s stupid and gay.”🤨 Then, we had a break and the teacher gave us chalk, so me and three other peoples covered the entire parking lot with pride flags, feminist/LGBTQ+/trans rights/BLM stuff just to piss her off. Fun times

companies treat pride like a holiday, they whip out the pride merchandise when they know the most sales will occur instead of showing their support all year round. companies supporting us for a month once a year is nice, but i'd rather buy pride merchandise from a company who openly supports us all year round. EDIT: not saying companies have to use pride logos and carry pride merchandise all year round, i'm saying companies should openly support and stand with the community all year round instead of staying in the dark until its pride month and then boom its all rainbows. if you don't stand with us when we're fighting, then sit down during the celebration.
Companies and corporations say one thing and do the other. This isn't just trans, its everything. Climate change, trans, womens rights, poverty in africa, human rights abuses such as china, and etc.
Random rant but some companies need to enhance their pride material. Just having a rainbow flag colored shirt every year is kinda…idk I feel like there’s some more creativity that could be incorporated
Whenever I see toddler clothing that I think is genuinely stylish I’ll go “I wish they made these for humans” idk why I guess subconsciously I don’t categorize toddlers as actual humans. Bruh that first video is Walter Matterson and I fuckin love him, he goes around to like… Conservative rallies and stuff and just lets them talk basically, it’s so fuckin funny. He’s pretty far left from what I can tell and he does this shit to make them look as bad as they actually are. 10/10 definitely recommend his stuff
Honestly it kind of makes me feel a lot better because when I was learning about the LGBTQIA+ community people even in the community would say if you're a trans guy you can't be feminine and now that people are saying I can be a feminine boy It just makes me really happy sorry for the rant I just wanted to put that there
it's so weird-- you aren't even feminine if you're feminine, you're just you. It's simply a word that matches clothing style and colors. Everything has a word assigned to it, and people are absolutely dicks about it. You just be you, and remember people who complain about that don't matter in your life. Words are words and they can't define how you must look.
@@ryuuthefrog3775 PERFECT COMMENT. 🥺 For example, ngl the fact that "femboy" is the label for every boy that just wants to wear things sadly labelled "feminine", is just so exclusive.
