1-You could have changed Project Point Elevation to change location of Levels instead of moving the Levels up! 2-Instead of keeping hiding AutoCAD File using the VG, you may use Hide in View option or simply Manage Links / CAD Format / Unload ( Not Remove) 3-After positioning the Walls parallel to True North, what will happen to the ( Real south view) ???? 4-Hope you can shed a light on these points as well. 5-Before walls, we acquire a Building Pad 6-You can go to each Elevation View, drag and align the views, instead of dragging them in 3D, or after moving them in 3D Thank you for sharing, great effort.
How do you do step 1 ? I agree that in architectural plans the 0.00 elevation is fine. Is taht what you meant? I agree on step 2 but everyone will decide according to their projet I still do not know how to adjust the view perpendicular to the project if this was rectangular 5- I agree on building pad first but many do walls and then floor Thanks for the comments and answers
what happens when the topographic lines showing elevation changes dont really show up on my map? only when im in shadded mode or 3d mode i can see the height changes.
Same question here. When importing the cad file, the Positioning option is origin to origin I am not sure which origin is the main one. I would like to keep the cad file coordinates since they are referenced to UTM
