I decided to put my Yamaha TTR 250r to the test and check its compression, only to find it disappointingly low. Further investigation revealed a leaky intake valve. Thus began my journey of dismantling and rebuilding my Yamaha TTR250, complete with lapped valves and a fresh piston and ring. Join me as I document this process and share the ups and downs of restoring my bike to its former glory. Let's dive in and enjoy the ride!

Nice vid, very entertaining! Where are you sourcing your TTR parts? I need an intake boot and don’t want to buy any of the Chinese knockoffs

Thank you. I got most of the orginal Yamaha parts from www.fowlersparts.co.uk. They deliver, parts only take a few days to arrive and the rest looking around eBay and online.
