Thank you so much for your comment Donna! ❤️ I absolutely agree with you that this is a FANTASTIC foundation! 😍 It's so funny that you bring up high-end versus drugstore... because in the past few years on my channel, after going through several formulations, and products, I have found that OFTEN the drugstore formulations outperform the high end foundations! The only hard part of course is that you can't try on the drugstore foundations so it can be tricky to get a match... but if you are able to get a match... I have dehydrated skin. I've been using this on a beauty blender but I find it really clings to dry skin. I looked like I was covering acne scabs, but I had no actual scabs. I paired it with oil of olay regenerist face cream, and another time holy hydration and putty primer. I've never had a foundation cling to my skin like this. I want to make it work so any tips would help. Thank you

Hi Brianna! 🤗 Great question.... They are both EXCELLENT foundations, but definitely have their differences. The L'oreal HA tinted Serum is definitely more of a matte(r) finish than the Revlon Illuminance. So I think the biggest question would be whether you want a dewier finish (the Revlon Illuminance) which can be powdered down to a satin-ish finish, or just the natural satin finish that comes from the L'oreal Serum on it's own (before powdering?) Also I feel like the L'oreal initially offers a bit more coverage, but the Revlon can be layered if you want more coverage.... I'd love to know what you decide!! ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks so much Joann! 😊 I have a good news/bad news situation on the lip color.... so the bad news is the name of the lipstick is "Top Billing" and it was a limited edition color from MAC. The good news is, MAC often includes limited editions, or changes the name and repackages them, so if you mentioned to the MUA at a MAC counter that you're looking for that, they may have something perfect for you! ❤️ Also, I was just at the MAC counter picking out lipsticks, and they had sooooo many beautiful peachy colors (which is my favorite lip shade) and I picked out a few, which I will be wearing. in my upcoming "long-form" videos. I will make sure to continue listing out the lip shades I wear in those so that you can check them out and see if one strikes your fancy! 🤗 I hope this helps! 💕

Are you referring to the L’Oréal hyaluronic serum foundation (the one that comes in the dropper bottle?) or a different L’Oréal foundation? @@foundationlady HI thanks for replying I am talking about the loreal hyaluronic acid dropper foundation. I'm also curious if you tried the Neutrogena serum health foundation as well. For drugstore these foundations are alot but if they work for my drier skin I can justify the price lol.

@@niadean9518 Perfect! Thanks so much for writing back. I can definitely give you my opinion on all three of those! So when comparing the Revlon Illuminance to the L'oreal serum (the one in the dropper) I find that the REVLON actually "feels" more like skincare to me. It is very creamy and moisturizing, it goes on very light at first, but as you probably saw in the video I was able to build it up on my skin without it caking at all. It definitely has a dewier finish that the L'oreal serum, but if you don't like the dewiness, I found that I was easily able to powder it, without it becoming cakey, and was left with a nice satin finish (post powder.) Now the L'Oreal serum obviously has "serum" in the name, but it didn't particularly feel like skin care to me, it just felt like a thin-fluid foundation (nothing wrong with that, just wanted to note.) It also looks really beautiful on the skin, but it definitely has a much less dewy finish than the Revlon Illuminance. For me it came across as a satin (ALMOST verging on slightly matte.) However, it is BEAUTIFUL in pictures, and looks really beautiful in any type of light! If you go to my page, click videos, and scroll down to almost the beginning of my videos, I have one that says "L'oreal's newest" and the title mentions that it's the L'Oreal Hyaluronic serum if you'd like to see that one in action. As far as the Neutrogena serum goes... it is FABULOUS! I love it for those days when I want a "barely there" look, but I just want to make my skin look moisturized and plump! It's not as much coverage as the Revlon or L'oreal, but if you like a light coverage, it is a top notch foundation. (I also have a video on that one the title (on the thumbnail) says, "This Drugstore Foundation Surprised Me" Sorry I would link it here, but it doesn't allow me to link in the comments. I personally liked the beauty sponge application best. (To be fair, I like sponge application best with a majority of foundations... just to be up front.) But I found with this one, that it allowed me to build up in light layers, that never got cakey on me. I hope this helps! ❤ Its a really lovely foundation! 🥰
