I use this on my daughters 4c hair. If you use it like a round brush/blow out it gets a lot straighter even without a flat iron. Just in case anybody wonders.
Thank you! I was trying to find a video like this but also one that could be useful because I see how others with easier hair than mine... I see how they kind of turn the brush around almost in like a circle kind of way and it's able to just give them exactly what they need and I was trying to find a way to do that WITHOUT the flat iron, so this comment is GREATLY appreciated...🖤🖤
@@QveenShay20 😊 you are welcome. When I get to her roots I turn it on the cold setting. I also use the brush from under as well as over if that makes sense just like a blow out when they pull your hair way up then flip your hair etc.
I agree because right now I'm literally skimming different videos of this same brush to see how to use roller brush the correct way and everybody keeps using it wrong like it's a regular brush. I'm not a pro but I know from the Dominican blowouts I had when they used roller brush they would lift a section of my hair and brush under that section while flicking their wrist . I need to get that technique down! Thanks for adding this helps💪🏿💪🏿
Oh hun your hair is so beautiful! Don’t destroy your hairline with wigs! Have fun with them sometimes but you gotta let it breath! You have nice long natural hair that looks great curly or blown out. You have so many GENTLE style options that aren’t possible for people who aren’t as lucky, and have no choice but to keep their hair in braids and wigs/extensions all the time. Be good to your head, or it won’t be good to you when you’re older.
I'm mixed (Puerto Rican & African-American) and I love this! I have a lot of really thick frizzy dry curly hair, and this works perfectly for me. Personally, it works better when I do it in really small sections and use Chi heat protectant spray and Suave heat protectant creme. I get it as straight as possible, then when I'm done with one section I flat iron it to get it straighter. Highly recommend it.

I may try this one instead of the paddle brush one bc this one has the ability to smooth the ends a bit more, as well as come from different directions while drying, no? You are the only person with really curly Afro hair that I’ve seen use this one. Hair is 3c/4a-b but i use a circle brush when i use a normal drier so this may make more sense for me. Thank you!
I’ve just discovered the Phillips procare airstyler which comes with all the attachments a brown girl needs including a paddle brush and comb haven’t use it yet but am crossing my fingers it works
R C hey I’ve finally tried it and it drys hair fast, the hottest setting is actually quite comfortable on your hair and skin, the attachments are a little big but they all work great very sturdy, only con is it’s very loud lol but because it’s so effective at drying your hair quickly you won’t be using it for very long. Am happy I bought it.
I am the same with my scarf at night. I found get a larger silk scard snd tying it around the front first and then securing the knot at the back works the best and it tends not to fall off. I then place a silk/satin cap over the top of the silk scarf

wear the wig about an inch or inch and a half below your hairline like on your forehead along with a wig cap..thats what i do and i dont experience my hairline receding back..but thanks for the video! your hair is still pretty!..im about to purchase this now! 💁🏽♀️🖤✨
@C S okay yes there are vids with 3C/4A hair but there are NOT a lot of vids with my hair AND using this hair dryer tool. that was the point i was trying to make.

Amber Richardson It can be a hassle, esp products wise. I got so much crap from naturals around me when I said that coconut oil wasn't good for my hair... It's not. Coconut oil is the holy grail for some naturals, but because have I low porosity hair, it's heavy and just sits on it. It doesn't absorb and have it filmy on mine. I stopped using it and began using lighter, more absorbent oils like avocado and jojoba. These are incredible.
I have THICK 4A hair and while I liked this dryer it is not getting the root (even with sectioning) I went back through my hair with a blow dryer/comb to get my roots. I would continue to dry my hair with the brush because I like it but just FYI thick hair girls.
That dryer doesn't seem too bad ... is it really hot?? I've wanted to try it but I don't like flat ironing my hair a curling wand may be enough for me the less heat the better.... Thx for sharing

Which Dyson do you have? I was contemplating this or the airwrap for my fine relaxed hair but I heard this one gets ridiculously hot and snags the hair. Do you find that it snags your hair?
please note if you are some one that is like this youtuber that is always putting good products in your hair and has it super cleared out and do not have thick black people hair then this is for you but for us with that thick strong black hair these flexi brush thing is not going to go thru your hair waste of time her hair may have curls but its thin
You have beautiful hair but my goodness, the wigs have robbed you of your hair on the sides! You should give them up for a while until your hair grows back.
You didn’t really straighten your hair, looks like you kind of ran it through without concentrating on the roots to build volume. Also would’ve liked to see if it would really smooth your hair. I have similar hair and could easily achieve what you got done. Didn’t seem special. I can’t sleep in a scarf either so I bought a silk pillowcase n love it.
I misunderstood. I thought the blow dryer was going to blowdry and give you a curl. What's the point of it being one step? All it did was blow dry. Where was the other thing combined into blow drying that made it one step? It's hard for me to phrase what I am trying to say. But anyway if all it was to do was blow dry why make it sound like two things were going to happen in one step. Only one thing happeded in one step.
@@kayladeer9644 oh okay. I thought it was two steps in one. All my blow dryers come with a comb and brush but the brushes are round. I saw a person with 1A hair use a circle brush like that to blow dry her hair and curl it at the same time. I was looking to see if it could be done on 3c-4c hair types. Instead of blow drying and then curling it. Thank you for replying.
Yea she’s def not using it right if you notice in the other videos they put the brush under the section and also turn it to curl it... she just uses it like it’s a reg blow dryer 🤦🏾♀️
I think, if used as a round brush as it is intended, it will give a curl. Just brushing will not give the best results. So if you purchase use it as a stylist would with a blow dryer and round brush.
That's what I was saying as well like, the way she's using this is totally different from what I seen other ppl used and I'm like.... 🙄🙄😐🤔🤔🤔 this can't be right and it is a all in one blow dryer and flat iron, that's exactly what the box say soo I'm definitely gonna continue watching others use this and do it the way it's supposed to be done, Thank you! 🖤🖤
