I live in Cambridge, i worked with a woman who was going to a CU college here and she said ''are you a sociopath'' to me, because i was talking a mile a minute about a bunch of different stuff from movies to cereal and i have ADHD. So they're really not so bright here, walking around these busy streets you hear them talking to each other, they are really not intelligent types, they're actually less intelligent than the average 8yr old imo.
They are having a high old time!! Revoke their places at the University.. it is clear... they are not interested in studying.... clueless and entitled..

@@longrolstral i presume, at least it was in my day, students get the relevant pre-university qualifications and then go to uni. So the vast majority between 18-25. He looked a lot older to me.

We have handed lots of our much needed university places to foreign students to earn money for the university.......there is a national treasure rented out.
To be given a place at any university is a privilege. Years of study funded by the taxpayer and no guarantee of the student loan being paid back. If a student is more preoccupied with protesting than their own education then their place should be given to someone else. Tourists are not going to visit Oxbridge while this circus is in town. The local economy must be suffering.
The ones in Cambridge have set up their encampment right in the area that the tourists love taking their memory photos before they go back home, outside King's College. Cambridge University owns most of the city centre, if tourists avoid coming here due to these fools, and Cambridge University start losing money, and regardless, they should expel these students, and not refund them their fees to start with, then maybe sue them for loss of funds. These students don't have the same rights over here as they do in the USA. Here, if Cambridge University starts losing money, they can and will remove the students. We're a science and tech town, so many science and tech businesses considered the 'silicon valley' of the UK and perhaps Europe. Israel does a lot of tech stuff, Cambridge university will not divest from Israel, the tech partnership is important, more important than most of those students. There are more adults working in Cambridge in companies connected to Cambridge University, making CU more money than the students who go there, those students are pointless.
I don`t know why they call themselves students as they are not studying anything but protesting about something that they know nothing about, they should give there place a uni to somebody who wants it

One came in a shop, she looked like a student, tall slim, young trendy cloths, long thick braided hair (not sure if it was her`s) hardly understood the shop assistant explaining, bog off, (Buy on get one free) and when we looked more closely we could she was about forty five to fifty and fresh back from protesting loads of the buy and feeding the hero`s and get out of their important way, even though there are not at a protest anymore, never mind the homeless they put on the streets, it is hard to bare them after protest as though they think they should be worshiped for what she did evidently had high opinions of herself while snarling at anyone who looks remotely not of her interests

Neeramalhan- I am afraid that far too many of the lecturers are from the " Frankfurt School" which bred latter day anarchist Marxism. After the revolutions of the sixties failed. The mix of Islamist Hamas supporters and the Marxists is plain and simple. " The enemy of my enemy, is my friend."
Just leave them there, their the ones who are missing the education they supposedly want, and they’ll still be loaded with a massively debt when they fail their courses
When I went to uni I went to learn a lot and drink a lot and looking back I think I achieved all I set out to do. Got my degree and a good job as a result and my liver has never been quite the same since.

It's rich kids that are the ringleaders. The ones from normal families are in for a harsh lesson when they find out how consequences roll off their rich friends expensive outfits like water off a duck and the same consequences end their own most important career prospects. Rich kids go to college as a rite of passage then gi back to their millionaire lifestyle never actually needed to learn or apply anything. This is their big hurrah.
Love how confident in their beliefs they hide behind masks . That list of things in the day to be honest is just pathetic. Watching them dress each other up just makes them look really silly. This all just does not ring true that they are genuine people believing in a cause. Although there is a genuine important need to be able to protest and air views there is something to aggesive about this that just looks wrong.
As they claim the jews came from Isarel thus have right of return. So if mews of UK have right to suppourt to Isarel despite having isareli passports why dont Palestinians have same rights? To me it feels like both groups are outsiders.

And not a word about October 7th from any of those protesters, or the hostages still being held captive by Hamas, some of which include babies and the elderly. They say the UK government is "complicit" in the so-called genocide against Palestinians, but these people are actually complicit with Hamas.
The said thing I heard was a mother got her son back from Gaza after 200 days being held against his will, she was beside herself. Missing his left hand or arm. Did not speak English and just not the same person anymore. Why is stories like this not flooding the media to bring awareness of the human cost of oct 7th. The Gaza protesters don’t know anything and don’t care maybe.
