they might not get bankrupt but they keep delisting crypto all the time. if you're holding any ofthe delisted crypto they just sell it automatically at a low price.
That is good to know. Thank you for highlighting this! Personally, I solely use Revolut to channel bank transactions through for points earning and to serve as an account that my credit cards take their money from once a month. At least that part has been working well for the last couple of years.
Thank you for the video. I live in Denmark and I have SAS credit card. I've tried to add money on Revolut with the card, but unfortunately SAS doesn't give me miles when I do that.
Hey Aline, that is unfortunate to hear. I have read that in some countries charging money to Revolut via credit card is booked in a category/bank code that makes this transaction not eligible for earning points. Might be worth researching a bit more if there are other credit cards that earn points through this in Denmark - whether it's just specifically this credit card or a general phenomenon
Hey there, it might be worth googling if that is a possibility. It seems that most credit cards work for Revolut Germany. If you are located in another country, the rules might be different. I know that in the UK, e.g. , they accept different credit cards. They also charge different amounts. For Germany, I can state that so far I have not been charged a single cent to use any VISA or MasterCard credit card. AMEX cards are not possible. Hope that helps!
HI Chris! How does it work? How can I charge my Revolut card with a different credit card and generate points/miles. For exemple, my virgin money credit card does not count money transfer as a purchase so they don't give you points/miles for that. I'm confused how do that and Revolut is not giving options at its app.
Hey Diana, when you open the Revolut app you have the option to "charge" money on to it - that can be done via bank transfer but also by directly charging your credit card (you basically just enter your credit card information). At least in Germany charging up via credit card is free and you can do so with any Visa or MasterCard. My sample size is limited to Germany, however, so I am not entirely sure whether this works for all countries Revolut is in. I know that the Hilton Visa card and the Miles&More Mastercard in Germany both work without issues. Mind you that this is NOT a money transfer - this should hit your credit card the same way any other "purchase" would do. That's the beauty of it. I would suggest you test it out with your credit card and charging your Revolut account IN THE REVOLUT APP with a small amount :) Let me know how it goes!
