The Analogues perform 'Revolution 1' by The Beatles during an integral rendition of The Beatles' White Album at the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool, August 24th, 2018.
Awesome 😎 👍 I Knew "Revolution 1" In 1981 When I Bought The Beatles' "White Album " 🙆 The Analogues ' Playing And Singing Are Better Than The Beatles To Me 😎 👍 Thanks To Upload, Playing And Singing 😄 Thank You So Much 🙇
I thought that was Liam Gallagher for a minute - he wishes!!! (Don't get me wrong, I like Liam). Thank you again for this amazing performance from a Beatles fan from Liverpool - originally from Speke, where both Paul & George lived for a time. xxx
Hola son buenos músicos y eso los lleva a recordar también a otros grandes los felicito por entregar su música al recuerdo su Amigo Ramón Barrios Cd de México
Perfectionist that they are, and I love them for their respect of the music..but they do make a slight slip in this song…when Paul says “I take two”..on the original recording John says “Okay”…and that’s what’s missing….but again, The Analogues are the best, and I hope they come to North America.
To be fair... Paul says: "ALRIGHT take two"... but with his accent it sounds more like: "Al-'ight take two"... and John does then say: "Okay!" But who's counting, lol... Not busting balls.... just taking the piss a bit! All in fun! Cheers!
This is the correct speed/tempo for this song. Remember, this is “Revolution 1” from the White Album. You are probably thinking of the faster single version just called “Revolution” which was on the Hey Jude single.
That sneaky "in!" crap is exactly what my former hero, who was really a subversive a-hole, meant. In my 60s, not a newby. 1st lp ever, 3rd grade, 1970, Let It Be, at Sears with Mom. I have 3 copies...wore them out. Still my favorite lp. And I do still listen but with maturity, comes discernment and insight. Jimmy Page/Led Zeppelin is/are my all time favorite, but I despise his association w Crowley, same with the Beatles...they were associated with him, too. JP needs to pick up the damn guitar and quit doing interviews in which he 1° mourns LZ. I honestly don't think he can play anymore. Those who can do, those that can't teach or talk. My opinion.
