Maybe I missed it in the video but is there an advantage to manually creating the partitions instead of just letting the installer do it's thing alongside windows?
Great question! Manually creating partitions gives you more control over disk space allocation, lets you optimize performance, and helps avoid unintended changes to your existing setup. If the automatic method works for you, (which allocates 50, 50 space for both Ubuntu and Windows) it’s fine to use that as well!
If you followed all the steps in the video, then you can try this: 1. Restart your PC and enter "Setup/BIOS Menu" using the F1, F2, F10, DEL, or ESC, according to your specific device 2. Click on "Advanced" and Look for "Boot Configuration" 3. Once you enter "Boot Configuration", scroll down and look for "Boot Order" 4. In this Boot Order, if you followed all the steps in the video, you can see two options, "Windows" and "Ubuntu". 5. Make sure the "Ubuntu" option is set as Number 1 6. Save everything, and now you should see the option to switch between either Ubuntu or Windows.
