I got a positive drug screen this year ( 2024 ) I completed my step 4 but haven’t found a job to help me complete my step 5 and 6. Will I loose my Licence if I don’t find a job by the end of November?

Or whichever comes first means… Example if your violation took place 2-1-2021 but you didn’t start the RTD process until 2-1-2023 your 5 years will back date to 2-1-21 even though you started 2 years after the initial violation but you must complete all 6 steps for this to be valid doing nothing is much worse than starting the process late. It will remain on your Clearinghouse record for a full duration of 5 years regardless if you complete it or not. New rules doesn’t allow that you do nothing because you will lose your CDL status 11-2024 so the Best thing for any Class-A driver to complete this process is to find a local Class-B mom and pop company and have them work with you to complete step 6 some companies may pay for your test or you may have to pay for it yourself just get it done. I spoke with the fmsca about this via phone call recently after my second violation in 3 years. Currently on my follow up 2 out 16 random test complete.

So the open violation is taken off after sap program is completion from the clearing house. But it still stays in the record that you had a violation in the past. That violation in the past will be removed after five years. Got it.

Tell the whole story about the companies that have 3-5 year waiting period stipulations before hiring SAP drivers, and companies that don't hire drivers that have failed due to cocaine vs. marijuana use. Most "SAP" friendly companies won't hire you if they see it was cocaine on the clearinghouse. Tell the "WHOLE" story. Yes, Tribe Transportation hired me, but I'm doing more sitting than driving! i want to give some drivers some awareness out go get a personal drug test sent to a lab before you talk to a sap provider those 12 panels drug test and 5 panels does not work i used it and i failed the return to duty now i have two violations there is no way i can find a job.

I am not understanding I am in a F’d up circumstance I have a SAP counselor who doesn’t completely understand the return to duty process and it has been 4 years with no luck in resolving my manner I am in step 6 and feel no closer to resolving my issue someone help me

If u gonna fail a drug test better do it now because FMCSA changing rules in 2024, i heard they downgrading you license and u have to do everything over again to get back in a truck.

sap is prejudice, why not put breathalyzer in trucks for alcohol before they are able to start a truck, people complete sap and still can't get job, I talk about this on my podcast.
