They made put so much work in creating this family mission statement and then ceremony, but never talked about it after or worked on living the statement!

Kody was very on trend with the "ask your husband to do something to help get ready for a party" and then chose a thing that not only didn't help, but also didn't pertain to anything they had already planned.

I know you've said you don't like to watch other recappers, but you really should check out Growing Up In Polygamy. The husband grew up in the FLDS and the wife grew up LDS. They respond to the religious aspects, and not the gossip. They just did season 15 and it's really interesting all the things they've caught that only people in that culture would see

You can only wear what is available in the store. In the 80’s there were colors on dresses that just should never be chosen for dresses and they managed to make all dresses poofy, skin tight or a combination. Some dresses have flaps of fabric over parts you don’t want to draw attention to. And then there were the shoulder pads. I don’t think those years ever repeated like most fashion repeats. I pray it never comes back in style.

I was so happy for shoulder pads. Before that my broad lady shoulders were squeezed. Can’t tell you how many times I ripped out shoulder seams 🙄 If I cut out the pads the fit was perfect. Recently someone commented about me still wearing shoulder pads. Nope that all me 😊

Mainstream LDS have been very clear that any service outside the temple is not a wedding. It was at the time called a ring ceremony. If they had anything at all in U.S. besides the temple sealing for nonmember relatives. At the ring the ceremony they talk about how this isn’t a wedding, that happened. You nonmembers missed it cause you are not worthy. You should come to church and in a year join. So I guess the AUB is the same. So that is why the Browns harped on this not being a renewal or a wedding. See they sealed for eternity to they can’t really do a service for time or do vows again. In most countries at this time civil law required a public ceremony in front of the public so they could object. So LDS let members get sealed right after that ceremony all could attend right away. A couple years they finally allowed US members to get sealed after a service for nonmembers. They used to wait a year for the sin of not doing the temple only.

Now there's a fence of course, but when you look at google maps you can see how the landscaping of Robin's and Meri's yards was connected. Christine's and Janelle's yards were just these unkempt, uncared for empty dirt patches. Christine generally doesn't seem into gardening, her Flagstaff property looked sad as f as well.

I loved to snark on Sister wives but yes Garrisons death changed it all. I can't snark on Kody. He sucks yes but now I know he has pain and regret ,he has to. Its not fun at all. I can not watch the new season period .
