The funny thing is, it is easier to rewild your home than it is your outdoor gear and experience. There are many self sabotaging practices of the modern outdoorsy person they are completely unaware of. What do I I mean by self sabotaging practices? Things we do which weaken our body.
When you go outside is when you especially NEED your body to work well. It is just you and nature rain, wind, cold, heat, bugs, snakes, sun. Our bodies need to be rewilded in order to go in nature and withstand the rigors presented. That’s why my philosophy is the BODY is the first piece of GEAR. Because if we are nutrient deficient and full of toxins we won’t be able to handle everyday outdoor things like sun, cold, bugs, moving on uneven terrain, etc.
