Reworked Unit Demo - Kirov Airship 

Wouldn’t it be cool if the searchlights actually did something like detect cloaked units? It could be an upgrade to research.

In reality, Kirov airship is 1 big slow floating target 🎯 that modern fighter jets that could easily shoot down with missiles. I thought Corona modder added gatling guns to Kirov airship that it's able to take out allies anti-aircraft boats but it ended up other way with Kirov airship being taken down instead

@@jayjay53313 First of all, front firing gatling guns is already there in the original model, check 1:29. Corona devs are only doing slight cosmetic adjustments. Kirov is already a heavy hitter, so adding more fire power for it will tilt the balance. Besides, Corona devs are also adding armor upgrade for it so it can takes hit for a longer time.

RA3 units in general had a unfitting comedy feel to them, I guess the game was born in a time rts games were no longer serious

I think everyone prefer the RA2 voicelines but unfortunately there're not enough voicelines of RA2 Kirov to replace all (i.e. when during combat or retreating,...)

I totally hope they add something like that, either a voice line (e.g. Tanya's evil laugh) or a special minimap icon like the RA3 commandos.

In the mod there are super anti air fighters that are longer ranger than base anti air fighters. If you watch some of the mod dev's showcase, they are basically endgame anti super unit fighters. The dev balanced them so that, they would nail Kirov, gunships and that samurai head thingy super fast, but they would lose to first tier fighters like apollo and migs, since they have minimum range and is slower than those fighters. In this showcase, the kirovs are basically attacking a tier one base, the mod have cryo legionaires lmao, and if you remember uprising, you remember what those guys can do when stuff up in a turret or god forbid those damn rocket car (sorry been so long since I played the mod and I forgot some of the unit names).

In corona mod, large aircrafts would take damage from Yuriko the same way as buildings, instead of instant kill. Also, the rate of damage that Yuriko can cause has been reduced a bit. And the way she attack aircrafts is segmented(still instant kill for t1 and t2), which means she need to attack three times in total to take down a t4 aircrafts like Kirov(45% each time), and this gives more than 5 seconds for other units near by to help the Kirov

I think they will eventually remake Poseidon destroyer, just like union tank and this huge cucumber. As for Sukhoi, I'm satisfied with the current model.

They already exist lmao, in the old videos (and a new one) the devs already showcased long range anti air heavy fighters of all factions, they are balanced to be slow firing but heavy damage on heavy units, they got nailed by low tier anti air unit like apollo l, migs and jet tengus though.

Kirov is a cheap unit.

The new kirov seems to be using its' nose gun for defense.

Kirov in RA3 has 9000 point (and upgrade) compare to 6000 point in original Ra3
