That shino backstory was so heart touching I think he’s has became one of my favorite characters in this rewrite. Come on guys like so we can get part 39 ASAP!

Sasuke maintaining the Black Death Poison is a brilliant idea. It explains that combined with the Sharingan and the Curse Mark, he broke Itachi's Tsukuyomi.

Man wtf. I love Shino but how did you almost manage to bring me to tears with the flashback? Its honestly impressive.

I think I know why Itachi sent the warning to Shino about preparing all of the Leaf's most powerful ninja to be sent after him. Itachi knows Tobi will be after Sasuke immediately after his death, and wants as many ninja around the area as possible to be ready to capture Sasuke after their battle. I think Dygo might be planning to have Sasuke return to the Leaf immediately after his fight with Itachi in this rewrite.

I really like how you portray Shino and Sasuke in the rewrite. Shino being a stoic, yet caring and smart badass and Sasuke being someone who who is strong but still somewhat hesitates about the past and his path

Shino: "I'll be able to save my friend. I couldn't be for him back than, but I'm now!" Comes back to Konoha Hinata: "The Will of Fire is nothing but an absurd ideal. I'll protect Naruto-kun and save everyone!" Shino: 😶

So that’s why Shino wanted to go on the sasuke retrievel mission so he can save his friend

Man, you're really giving these characters as a level of development beyond that of what Kishimoto could. This is no longer just a simple rewrite, this is a direct upgrade from the Naruto series. If somebody were to animate this, I think it would probably break the internet.

Man, I started this series four days ago and I finished it on this day and I say that this is the best series I have ever watched on RU-vid. Thank you for giving me a chance to watch my favorite series better and giving other characters more screen time like Shino Neji, Rock Lee, and especially Hinata, her flashback with Danzo was crazy, just keep going, we're with you❤❤

Wow this chapter was a wild ride! Three things to say: 1. Since your chapter abour the 2nd Chunnin Exams it was obvious that you're a Shino fan and that was strange yet kinda cool.... And now I've become a Shino fan myself, and it's all your fault! This is how you put the spotlight on secondary characters, applauses! 2. You made me remember the first time I watched Naruto on TV (many many many moons ago! haha), at that time Itachi was a savage presence, a real psychopath as your Tsunade said. Every time he was on screen you knew shit was about to get real... but all that slowly faded away with his good guy retcon and his deus ex machina jutsus... But tonight you made me remember the absolute hype of seeing Itachi in action!... Will you be bold enough to keep him a hearthless psychopath in your rewrite up until the bitter end? Let's see 3. As someone else already said in the comments, thanks for making us feel excitement for this amazing series again... I can imagina it's kinda dissapointing to not reach the likes goal and you might feel tempted to stick to your regular content... but know I only have a handful of allowed notifications on my phone and your videos are among those, and when I get a notiffication as soon as I read "rewriting Naruto", that puts a smile on my face haha. The fanbase for this videos could be small but it's strong and loyal, just like your version of Shino.

My god, 28mins in and this just hits me hard. Wholesome moments with young sasuke and shino, then the smooth link of “sasuke being late the night of the massacre” was because he trained with shino. 😢

I feel like donzo used kotoamatsukami on tsunade, which explains why tsunade was in the land of crystals again.

You are making Shino become my favorite character. I got so sad for him this episode. It's even more sad knowing he just wants to help his friends and be there for them when we know what's happening with Hinata right now as well.

Dude, the amount of character and depth your adding to each character is realyl good.

I hope a similar pattern of character depth is extended to Naruto, seeing him actually go dark or doubt the leaf and himself would elevate his character significantly from simply a paragon of virtue.

After than Tsukuyomi Itachi projected I wonder if Itachi is evil in your universe, I really cant tell! Amazing chapter, I must say! Everytime a new one comes out I start screaming in fanboy voice.

Major kudos to you for believably complicating Sasuke's emotions past the timeskip and truly giving Team Kurenai actual character arcs where Kishimoto couldn't. Been into Naruto since it hit the West back when and I came outta this episode with a deeper appreciation for Shino on the same level I did for Hinata after her plot twist. And your iteration of Kurotsuchi practically carries the Stone out of the red-headed stepchild status of the Hidden Villages; impressive. Between your sharpening skills in editing and narration, feels like I'm enjoying the Naruto ride all over again

Make Shino have some emotional link with Sasuke makes the Sasuke retrieval more of a leaf village matter as a whole, not just a burden for team 7 only to bear.

Wow. That was insanely good. One of my favorite episodes for sure. The Shino and Sasuke backstory hurt so good. It is kind of a shame that they were never able to connect more deeply, as they really do feel like they could. The backstory also gives some powerful recontextualization for the praise Sasuke gave Shino in past episodes. I hope we see them interact again eventually, even if it's something small. The plot direction of the Black Death went differently than I'd predicted, but was very smart and satisfying. I will say that the more Sasuke struggles with it the better, just to make sure it doesn't feel cheap that he's able to willpower his way through it - but the justification for it as a plot beat itself is there and is sufficient, I think. It is funny to think that it may have prepared Sasuke to endure the worst pain imaginable for the future. I also like how Sasuke's motivation to return to the Leaf was shaped by Orochimaru's influence here.

Funny, I was thinking the other day about how I could see Shino and Sasuke being friends. The voice acting is always on point and Itachi was terrifying.

Sasuke is hard core wanting to keep the black death poison in him for training is Amazingly incredible strength to have. I'm glad sasuke didn't give in to Orochimaru to release him, wasn't even close to his goal but you made his talk with Orochimaru work out after all.

Shino is so interesting in this rewrite (finally)

Honestly I am very invested with Sasuke's revenge mission now. Great job over all. I can feel just how much you love this character. That Orochimaru take over attempt, Black Death and Genjutsu were hardcore moments from him. He felt like anime Batman between his logical assessments, trauma, and how much pain and torment he was resolved to take. That was amazing! You really paid off Shino's set up from Part 1 in this episode. He and Sasuke have a really cool dynamic. Great flashbacks, seeing everything from Shino's perspective was classic Naruto storytelling at it's finest. Love Itachi's message. Surprisingly, Kado isn't Zorro Finally gave Kiba some redeeming qualities and humbled Sasuke a bit when he got cocky which was pretty cool. Just hope that Tsunade's intellect and skill can get some love in her next bout after coming across kind of dumb and impulsive, too bullheaded to lead the Leaf, but that might be intentional set up for Danzou's insurrection. So I'll leave judgements for later in that regard.

Double Genjutsu = genius writing!!! Great work!! Interested to see if Danzo makes a move while Itatchi is preoccupied, Jiraiya and Tsunade are vulnerable, and it seems like possibly Kakashi and Guy might get sent to deal with Itachi. However you do it I have full faith this arc is gonna be fire!!!🔥 Keep cookin @DygoKnight‼️🫡

@DygoKnight 5:08 a slight error in Orochimaru's gangster line. He says "I will kill Sasuke for you" instead of Itachi To help out the confused children, you could add an edit "Itachi" so the little ones understand.

I really like this series dygo, but the issue is that I usually save them for a time when I can sit down and watch them with dinner after a long day. Sometimes it takes me weeks to get around to it and I'm pretty sure the algorithm doesn't like that. For what it's worth I think this type of video is evergreen content, like DBZA. People will come back to it over time and I think it will just accumulate views, so please don't get disheartened if they don't immediately hit a like or viewership goal. Anyway, I'll be back to finish this video after a long day at work or something, but for now I'll give it a like and a comment. Thanks for all your hard work.

The kage summit arc is gonna hurt man….. when Sasuke does go rogue once he finds out the truth about Itachi both Shino and Kiba would feel guilty for not stopping Sasuke when they had the chance and if Danzo and Hinata hears about it they would use it to their advantage.
