Man I didn't expect Naruto to actually kill Hiashi. But I guess his hand was forced when Hiashi got the other branch family members involved with the seal... Kinda felt bad for Hiashi's father until the ''That's for raising such a crappy son!'' line. That was too funny haha. Awesome episode!

I actually like what is being done here. Bringing more complex ideas than you can convince anyone to yield(bring them to your side) sometimes death is needed, i feel like the original didn't explore that nearly enough and how Naruto must deal with that part of his world. Also showing Naruto being part of the Cycle of hatred as well is a great idea. Overall just great writing.

The Anbu is 100% Itachi

(WARNING: Long comment with spoilers) Takeaways thus far: 1) Naruto has a higher body count than Sasuke in this rewrite (at least thus far). 2) Hiashi will not become a doting grandfather and be redeemed as we see in Boruto. Granted, Dygo is VERY vocal about his disdain for Boruto. 3) Comments point to Itachi as the Anbu-masked man. (I wonder if Sasuke vs. Itachi will be changed in the rewrite.) 4) Naruto understands the necessity of killing in some circumstances to save a life and others who are innocent, but he also hates it and wishes for it to never be an option. 5) Hinata being the new head of the clan while imprisoned can have interesting implications. I assume this is where the Twin Lion Fists will come from. 6) I'm ready for the next chapter. Take your time, Dygo, and don't be afraid to make us wait if necessary. Writing yourself into a corner with a Deus ex Machina to save it never helps. Don't Michael DeMartino and Brian Konetsco yourself.

That mysterious figure: - Has an Anbu mask. - Doesn't like Danzo. - Has met Naruto, but Naruto can't quite recall their voice, meaning some time has passed. - Has been watching Naruto, as evidenced when they say "it seems you are NOW capable of..." So they knew what he was like before. - Says wise philosophical shit and talks in metaphors. - They talk about solving problema through violence as if they had to do something like this before and struggled with it. - Has THAT music as their background. - Is stronger than Sasuke. SPOILER ALERT!!!!!! Bro trained hard entire day, got baited into a clan fued, killed his girlfriends father on a fraction of his chakra reserves, made hyuga clan his bitch, impressed itachi and left without elaborating further.

That was a really solid episode. You clearly put a lot of thought into this encounter as it very much was a callback to Naruto vs Neiji in how Naruto was being underestimated and looked down but I loved how you had Hiashi be smart enough to see Naruto's ploy he used against Neiji(very smart to note his Byakugan was active as opposed to Neiji's) and having Naruto utilize Shinobi deception to kill Hiashi. As for Hiashi being a bad guy, I knew he wasn't going to be redeemed, given what he had done to Hinata and really just the nature of the Hyuga clan. I always felt like the Hyuga clan had great prominence in part one and then part two they fell to the wayside. Sure, Naruto the Last tired to give them relevance but it was too late and came off as a bit tacked on. Here, you clearly did a wonderful job working with the lore and elements we had in the original series. I also really loved Gamalima. Summoning jutsu I found is an underrated ability and I liked seeing Naruto utilizing it more, namely with Gamalima providing support and having a logical reason for why he found out about Hiashi, given his recon work and working with Jiraiya. All in all, fantastic work.

I love how friggin flawed and weird Gamalima is while sharing some of Jiraiya's most distinctive traits. Naruto might need that when trying to get in Pervy Sage's head later in life after he is gone. Also, through these special summons, we are seeing how Naruto can perform in the field similar to Jiraiya like tracking and spying with Gamalima. Looking forward to Naruto's 'worse summon' return. (Much better alternative to Gamariki) Naruto is such a weirdness magnet, but always makes it work in his favor somehow.

As someone with a lizard, I really enjoyed the line, "Have you any idea how boring cloacas are?"

Hello there. When there was condition to get 3k likes I used to ask every time if we made it. But now this condition is gone so... I want to write a bit more here. I'm a simple guy from Ukraine and you know that we have some "problems" here. So I want to thank you once again for these rewrite videos cause it's really helping. Every day I'm scared that I can be enlisted despite the fact that it is prohibited by law because I'm a student. There is always a guy who doesn't give a shit and can send me somewhere to die and my family won't know anything. And still I try to look for good things that help me rest for a bit without any second thoughts. Your rewrites are one of those things. So I ask you to keep making them, they are really great. I wish to be alive when this story ends.

Amazing as usual. By being the vassal leader of the Hyuga Clan, he will start learning what it takes to be a leader, thus teaching him what it takes to be Hokage, something we really didnt get in the original series.

I love the writing of this series! Seeing Naruto make progress in keeping his promises that were never fulfilled in the OG series was definitely needed! I’m excited to see how Naruto deals with the state of the Rain Village after this! Making Naruto the head of a clan gives him more responsibility, which will be a great test run for when he becomes Hokage. The way you’re expanding on the toads Naruto can summon, it adds depth to the world. This series hits all the notes a rewrite should have! Unfinished/lazily finished plot lines from the OG are finally paid off, future storylines are set up in satisfying ways that mesh really well with the plot he’s writing, somewhat shallow elements from the OG are fleshed out! What more could a fan want?

I have been a huge Naruto and One Piece fan for about 11 years and have been watching your channel since about part 4 of this rewrite. What your video series showed me is how much potential the story actually had. Naruto is brilliant, but unfortunately not enough was made of the premise in my opinion. I blame the weekly release for that. I firmly believe that if Kishimoto had had more time, Naruto would undoubtedly be considered the best anime. Your rewrite shows that very clearly. The whole showdown with Tsunade and the others vs Sasuke was already crazy. It's so refreshing that after all that time in the land of crystals we're back to the village and shit is still getting crazy like we didn't skip a beat. The pacing overall from all the recent episodes has just been phenomenal. And the character progression is the fucking CHEF'S KISS. Mannn, I ain't expect Naruto to win and kill him either, but this makes this SOOOOO much more complicated and interesting. Didn't bend the character too far with him killing, it still feels like Naruto and that's cool yo. Take the time you need! Excited and patient for the next part! 💯

I hate how much relevance Dojutsu have in the series, sometimes it feels like having cool eyes in Naruto or Boruto(EW) is more important than having a functioning brain. Your rewrites are a godsend.

I knew Naruto would win but i didn't think he'd kill Hiashi. I like how Naruto becoming Hyuga clan leader is a progression to him becoming hokage. His climbing up the ranks of leadership in the political world which is a nice addition. Its something i see Oda do with Luffy that i wish Kishimoto did with Naruto... But damn i didn't see Hiashi's death coming. I do hope he miraculously survives but is cripple to atleast answer for his sins, redeem himself and be contrast to Narutos new positive and compassionate leadership.

Totally understand not being able to do a weekly rewrite. These take a lot of editing especially for a single person team. So long as theres a semi consistent schedule to look forward to, i dont mind at all personally

i honestly enjoy the rewrite, each one of them from part 1 till now. You expand the story in a way thats very interesting but still paying respect to the source material. Sadly i feel like this rewrite isn't for every naruto fan. Most just accepts the story as it is and call it the best there is. They dislike changes and felt this kinda thing is unnecessary... Okay I buy it that that had to be Itachi. Especially after what he said about the hard decisions. Despite how much Naruto Hated Hiashi he still acknowledges that he was still a person and the father of his Hinata. Hiashi's character in this story represents a man who grew up Completely privileged and raised to think that he was above others So Neji was right he would have rather died than submit. So there was no other way that could have ended. Also how lucky was naruto that he summoned the one toad that knew about Hiashi deep dark secrets. This information can come in handy. Also Sakura, Kakashi, and Yamato are gonna flip when they find out what happened.

Oh man, I just thought of something, imagine if this sets up a meeting between Naruto and the Feudal Lord himself? Thought never crossed my mind. That guy in the anime was a weirdo that didn't take things very seriously outside of reputations, but Dygo might rewrite a less flamboyant ruler than being incompetent and naive with someone even more detrimental to the Shinobi system, like someone who only views Ninjas as tools to be used, thrown away and replaced. A political opponent for Naruto to square up against that is exactly the type of person Naruto would fundamentally hate, but given his political position, is untouchable even for Naruto. Naruto having to learn how to work with unlikable people

Blindfrog is such a cool and quirky character, i like how youre giving the toads more depth.

This episode actually makes for great character development down the line for naruto. Now that he’s finally chosen violence he will genuinely feel the effects of the cycle of hatred due to his own actions while trying to put an end to it unlike in the canon. He will truly have a better understanding when that time comes

I hope so, in a way that allows Naruto to face the circle of hatred and parallel how he stopped that uzumaki boy to kill Hinata after she killed her mother

This was a really good part, love the strategy and multiple back up plans. The writing in this series remains top notch especially the creativity of these original techniques and characters. Also really nice how the anbu actually do something now instead of just running into a barrier and killing themselves.

I can't wait to see what Naruto is going to do with both "Strength" and "Status" while his reputation remains super controversial with most of the village still hating his guys. It's like a powder ceg that is going to blow up, but you're using it as a natural political step in the direction of him becoming Hokage. Honestly, this is the sort of expectations I had when Shippuden was coming out. Thanks for following up on Naruto's pledge to the Hyuga Clan.

I really like the idea of the Take Sheesho (I... don't know it's the good to write it), it give a fighting chance militaraly and politically for smaller clan against the bigger ones. Just an amazing episode. I really like the way you portrayed Naruto losing control and killing Hiashi, and How this could model his thoughts and actions when we get to the Pain arc. It really add a new layer of complexity to the character and gives a solid background to his future decision

Full moon an omen of brutality. Will Danzo begin his coupe? But if that happens this means he will have to die before the 5 kage summit arc. What might happen is that Danzo might target Tsunade, Jiraya or anyone that might interfere with his plans and basically Naruto and his allies will have to defend which will result in Danzo being arrested, him being killed or being exiled, if he doesn't get killed this means either he will be arrested or be exiled only to return after the pain invasion arc which the village will need him to lift things up. Maybe Danzo won't do anything and the omen of brutality is related to something else.

Gotta say, I knew that Hiashi would get his comeuppance one way or the other. But him dying, especially by Naruto's hands, was certainly not on my Bingo card! But I'm not complaining, and it was certainly cathartic in every sense of the word. For all his flashiness and performative combat, Mr. Hiashi just drops dead via a simple kunai to the heart. The fool was so proud of bloodline. Thought his Byakugan made him and the Hyūga clan practically invincible. But it's like Danzo said, on it's own, the Byakugan is nothing more than a gimmick. Nothing but smoke and mirrors. So, all the more fitting and ironic that Hiashi would meet his end surrounded by smoke that practically rendered his Byakugan useless. And you know the funniest part about all this? Not only did Hiashi die as casualty of his own arrogance, but his death also meant that Hinata, the unwanted daughter that he so despised, is now officially the head of the clan, which was the last thing that he wanted. I like to imagine those were his final thoughts before breathing his last. Still though, with Hiashi dead and with the Hyuga clan now under Naruto's leadership, I can only imagine how this will affect his public image amongst the people of the Leaf Village, especially since he's still more or less a social pariah. And I especially can't wait to see Tsunade's reaction and everyone else's once they find out about everything that went down while they were gone. It's gonna be a fucking mess, I promise ya. 😂

ive been watching your rewrite episdoes ever since the first one, and as a huge fan of the original I too could admit that there were plenty of things that naruto did wrong and could've done better even though it was already such masterpiece. The work you are doing here with your rewrites really bring out the true potential of the writing and the story in the show and take it from a die-hard fan of naruto, I think you're doing the show the biggest justice, and its honestly amazing how good you are it. Dont worry about the time it takes to make these videos, this is a passion project of yours that many of us are heavily invested in, just keep doing what you doing and I think you've got a genuine future as a writer man, love ya and take care of yourself, absolutely loving your work

Man.... Man... MAAANN!!! I Just beggining watch from the tenchi bridge arc just for curiosity to see how you would improve it, and you hook me till now!! Just few days and I watched till here!! I have just some things to say. First, your writing is soo good! Like, you can write tatical fights, you improved all the plots, and world biulding, and are tying up everything together, and these original arcs are INSANE!! Every fight or thing that happen has a purpuse. Please, do not stop writing this! Now I have to check the part 1 ultil the tench bridge arc! The character developmant! Naruto, is getting stronger and training, gained more jutsu's, training with lee, and is slowly acting like a hokage, like, you can see that he is improving in all directions, like a prodigy that will become hogake one day should, and the people arould him is NOTICING IT and accepting him, that just incredible, for some reason shounem jump autors make theis main character beat the ASS of a strong foe, but no one recognize, that so frustating. Sasuke Still had bounds with the village, and likes Sakura, this is really good! The care you did with shino, lee and Neji? Man, this is the dream of naruto fans, this is the fanservice done right! Sakura is super cool now with Genjutsu and her avatar, she is best girl now! Naruto reals friend, this is perfect. Hinata, in the beggining i think you overpowered her, and think she was out of character, but, you are a genius because the fashback of her getting into ambu, really make us believe and understand everything! Her character has more layers now!! The killing of Sai was genius and you turn yamato and a much more interesting character, and he is even developing as well. The killed of Hiashi was a genious move too! Now Hinata is the leader of the clan, and she with naruto and Neji can now stop this nonsesn of family branches, man, thats so cool!! I'm a writer myself, and I have my story, and you inspired me in the write perspective, you always take the battles to the limit of the character, forcing they to a real challange, but in a way that do noot seems unreal! We can feel the tenson, the plot twists in the middle of the battle, and the epic battles that everyone is fights some foe in other place at the same, but at the same time, each other is affecting the other battles somehow, feels like everyting is conected nad really happening at the same place and time, and everyone has a hole to play. You are turning naruto into a masterpiece, if this would be animated, or tuned into a manga, would break the internet. Naruto is my first anime, and I love these characters, so you have no Ideia how much these series means, and props for your voice acting, and your edit as well, because, feels like really watching the anime, everything is just so believable. There is only 4 thing that botter me, that I would change. 1 - The thing that most bother me was that, Shino should not me able do fly above his insects, because, insects are not like Gaara sand that is massive and heavy, the insects have to mantain distance for reach other so they can be able to fry with their wings, so, they cannot make a solid plataform, and worst of all, if shino step on then, they should never me able to flap their wings in the first place, so they would all fall, this is the only thing that for me was not believable and took me off the imersion of the battles like Sasuke vs tsunade, the other things that you did to shino was birllhant! 2 - The secong chunnin exam happen in the same day, like, they could not rest between their next battle, that not a big deal but, imagine that Lee goes to the final, but with the body damage because of the gates? He would have no change in the final to rest? 3 - The OST volume is too low!! You can rise it like in the anime, so we can hear them, and because of your voice, they will no get copyrighted if you rise it a little bit! 4 - Hinata using lighting, but I'm almost sure you will bring up a good explanation, but I feel like that explanation already should have come. I would have much, much more to say, everything is so good, and is so many things! Just congrats man! Please keep with this good work, now this is the cannon Naruto for me, really!
