Thank you. I guess I really meant that I don't have much experience writing stories, specifically. I took a creative writing class a few semesters ago, but other than that my experience is limited to writing essays for school; that's why my script reads a lot like a school paper. However, I think what really helped me is just that Total Drama is such a heavily structured show that it really lends itself to being a useful jumping-off point for creative writing. This season in particular uses a bunch of familiar characters, but also because I chose to base this video on an already finished product rather than constructing a wholly new season, a lot of the work was just reorganizing certain story elements.
It is weird that Samey got eliminated almost immediately after Amy. I don't remember Pahkitew very well since I haven't seen it in a while, but that definitely felt like a waste of time. Samey should've had more time to develop independently from her sister otherwise they may as well have not included them.
@@neodica5967 if i rewrote TDAS. Id have mike getting booted early. But then returning during the big merge. However mike is himself. This way we get the biggest surprise. The one character who returns actually wins.. anyways. This way we get a good reason...
Oh and another thing, it's weird how the show kind of forgets that Gwen and Heather at least tolerate each other by world tour. They also deal with a lot of the same issues come all stars (total dramax4 island confirms this) when Heather doesn't like being the mean one. They're both dealing with being labeled as just one thing, and they don't explore that. Missed opportunities woo
Even though I kind of understand why the writers would want to keep characters in their most recognizable forms, it is kind of disappointing when it comes at the cost of developing their relationships, but especially when their existing relationship has clearly run its course. It would've been fine if Gwen and Heather's animosity was present and just took a backseat this season, but then they put that awkward moment in the finale where Gwen bonks Heather with a paddle and she's like "I've been waiting to do that for four seasons!" Like, that wasn't a cool culminating moment, you already got back at Heather all the way back in season 1 when you forced her to take all those dares and shave her head. Obviously, that doesn't mean Gwen can never take revenge on Heather again, but at this point it does feel like they should have some kind of change in their relationship.

They did not tolerate each other in World Tour. Rewatch the season. They were constantly arguing, especially in episode 8 and in the special that lead to the season. The only reason Heather didn't want Gwen to go home during the love triangle drama was because Courtney was throwing challenges, which annoyed Heather a lot more.

Great rewrite. In terms of Mike's DID, whilst I don't myself have it, a common complaint is that the cure-me-of-my-mental-disorder-button wasn't a great decision on their end. Learning to accept that you're sharing your body with your alters seems a more responsible approach to the matter, even if specifically relinquishing control of the body isn't entirely realistic either. Also, I feel with some adjustments to your rewrite Mal (maybe under another name than being called Malicious shortened) could be a sympathetic character, who wouldn't need a bribe to accept let Mike be the host, under the pretense that they would all still be viable alters afterwards, by having his main fear be being lost and lonely again.
Oh my gosh, as a total drama super fan I loved this rewrite! I really love how Gwen and Courtney’s friendship was handled and everyone got lots of development, the changes to the story of All Stars felt natural! Although Lindsay’s my favorite character I understand why she was eliminated first and all. Also this is off topic but does anyone else think Lindsay and Gwen shouldve had more screentime together? In the list of Lindsay interactions Gwen was the only person in the All Stars cast she had a friendship with (even if not really developed), their dynamics of being a cheerleader outgoing yet not very intelligent girl and the more intelligent loner goth girl character would’ve been cool to see! #gwendsayrights Anyways amazing video, worth every minute of watching :)
Gwen and Lindsay having a stronger friendship does sound a lot more fun when you put it like that. The dynamic kind of reminds me of Jade and Cat from Victorious.

ive only watched the intro but i LOVE how youre handling mike's DID!! i have DID myself and i love mike as a character and mal had genuinely irked me (mostly with how over-the-top his villainy is, and how factitious he seemed), and the way you're empathetically handling his disorder makes me SO happy!! all stars completely threw off mike's DID (which wasn't that good of rep to begin with, but the writers only handled the disorder worse), and seeing someone caring so much about spreading more proper information and crafting the disorder to be more accurate and safe makes me want to cry (even if everything isn't 100% accurate, you've handled this SO MUCH BETTER!!).. us with DID have barely any proper representation, and while you claimed that you aren't an experienced writer, i can already tell you've crafted something wonderful and more accurate with mike's disorder. the reset button had always been such a big problem for me. as much as i joke with friends about how i want my alters gone (and the copious amount of times i prayed for them to disappear), i know my life would only spiral without them. that's something that i feel TDAS didn't really consider. there is a reason why mike has this disorder, and, in theory, that "reset button" uncovers that trauma that has been hidden from him. realistically, mike is probably unable to handle that trauma without intensive therapy, so that reset button has always pissed me off. (along with that, you can't just erase the disorder. he still has it no matter what, and following the reset button it's basically a matter of time before alters start splitting off again T_T) THANK YOU. thank you for your empathy and the thought you put into mike's disorder. giving mal a genuine fronting trigger (that also makes sense with the little past we know of mike!) and making his character not "evil" shows such attention and research that the writers lacked. you're a wonderful person. thank you for your tenderness :)
Just finished watching! I noticed DJ on your Venn Diagram and realized he would be great contestant to relate with RoTI cast members! Dawn: Both are very animal-centric and it would be cute for Dawn to help DJ get over his fears about his mother. Cameron: Both characters are sheltered and family orientated, but Cameron to a greater extreme. DJ would be a great motivator for Cameron to embrace nature. Mike/Mal: Mike is a very sweet guy who would open himself to the even sweeter DJ. I would also imagine DJ and Manatoba getting along due to their survival skills. Mal betraying DJ would be absolutely heartbreaking.
This is a really nice breakdown :) It makes me hope that the selection process for the new seasons will be a bit more open than All-Stars (assuming one of the seasons will have the old characters). I feel like a lot of characters have been neglected over the years, so it'd be nice if the writers used this as an opportunity to give characters like DJ more development. In fact, it makes me think of a suggestion someone had where Trent could be reintroduced to the series and maybe he and Gwen could rekindle their romance after all this time.
The musical challenge you mentioned could be the perfect episode 3 challenge. Imagine them performing three acts per team in the same style as the talent show from season 1 with Chef being the main judge (This way you could reference three seasons in one single challenge). Since the Heroes have Courtney, who sings incredibly in both Action and World Tour, Sierra and Mike, they could easily win the challenge. The first act of the heroes would be a comedy act between Sierra and Cameron playing Cody, second act would be Courtney's princess song from Action but renewed, and Mike's final act would be the villain song you mentioned where all of his personalities would perfom. In the villains team, first act a duet between Alejandro and Heather, then Gwen and Duncan, and finally Lightning, who made a song about himself and lost the challenge
Really wasn't on board when you said the finalists were still Mike and Zoe, but I'm glad I pressed on because you had me totally convinced by the end. Your change of Mal from overtop murderous villain to a more lowkey and believable villain is clutch. It really helped to change some of the biggest problems I had with the season.
the rewrite to where chris just lets all the spectators fight for the money again and run free like wild animals during the finale because of how disgusted he is by all the romance, is such a subtle addition in comparison to all the other changes you made but it's so on brand and perfect. that's when i knew you really understood your source material
Having the cast be spectators for the final challenge is something that after hearing it actually makes its omission baffling. It also helps not make everyone assume the other contestants literally die
honestly, when you went over how the dynamics between characters would work, I knew that you put effort into this! the changes you made were really good, better written than the actual show which did seem to really just..teeter more on mike and zoey. the way you handled mal also worked so much better - you just did an amazing job! id love to see you tackle more tv show rewrites, even if they all take 7 months XD
Have you seen the new poster for the new season? Also awesome rewrite! I really like what you did with Mal Courtney, and Gwen’s character here. If they wrote Mal and the ending like this, maybe this season wouldn’t have been so hated.
something I always wanted was for Chester to be a personality that had a lot of trivia knowledge, like the intelligent one. the others have some sort of ability, and Mike is a moral center, so I felt like Chester should've had something
I just finished watching this and it was worth it! I love this video and it came out amazing and it deserves more views! I agree with many of your points and this seems not too much different but different enough to be a lot better. You also somehow made Mal so much better! I hope you make more videos soon!

This was such a great analysis. At so many moments did I go “oh my god, that would have been perfect!” You really hit the nail on the head dude. For so long I’ve believed that All Stars was beyond saving. Watching this video made me think for the first time in years, that, no, maybe it wasn’t. Can’t wait to see what you have planned for the future.
This would make for a fantastic season! It fixes the derailments, fixes Mal, and the eliminations make much more sense, and make the season flow much more naturally for an All Stars season.
Wow, this is amazing. I have too many things to comment on, so let me just say this is one of the only well made and intricately written all stars rewrites I’ve ever seen, and easily the best of them all. This is also one of the smartest put together TD videos I’ve seen in general, truly.
I'm late to this video but as someone with DID, I LOVE THIS!!! You did such a good job making Mal into a proper villain without just being a horrible stereotype, and made the season overall way better!
Awesome video man! I like this rewrite idea! it was fun to watch also, would you ever consider fixing Pakitiew as well, because personally I see more to salvage in that season, mainly since I think there are characters and plot ideas that could have been great.
Thank you, I'm so glad everyone is enjoying the video. As for your question about a Pahkitew rewrite I actually received a similar question a few days ago. I'll admit that I did think about it during the writing for this video because they're usually the two seasons fighting it out for the worst spot. It's clear that most people don't find Pahkitew very satisfying, and I definitely think it has a lot of room for improvement, but at the same time I'm not sure how I would go about it. Since this is the debut season of a new cast, altering the Pahkitew characters is a lot trickier because they aren't already established like the All-Stars cast. Rewriting Mal was easy because he was just one character but rewriting 14 characters that are essentially blank slates is a bit overwhelming and almost as much work as constructing an entirely original season with OCs. It doesn't help that much of the cast (Leonard, Rodney, Ella, Max, Shawn, etc.) is just way too delusional about their reality to interact in ways that are relatable or understandable, but also a lot of the characters rely on relatively niche character types that don't bounce off each other as easily as "popular girl vs. goth" or "jock vs. nerd". That makes it a lot harder to restructure the order of eliminations since it's hard to imagine how these characters would interact on an episode-to-episode basis. For example, if Beardo stayed around for longer and opened up like he said in his audition tape, I'd have to fabricate a lot of his personality since he wasn't around long enough in the show to have useful material to work with. Conversely, a lot of people find Sugar annoying, but eliminating her too early would result in the loss of a lot of character interactions. Aside from all that, I just haven't watched the season since it first aired in like 2014 because it didn't give a very good first impression. Maybe if I watched it again I would feel more attached to the season and have more ideas, but for the time being I'm not super interested in doing a video on Pahkitew Island.

My Rewrite: -All 14 original All-Stars cast members stay with 24 contestants from both Gens 1 and 2 Gen 1 are Courtney, Gwen, Duncan, Heather, Owen, Beth, Alejandro, Sierra, Lindsay, Leshawna, Cody, and Harold and Gen 2 are basically everyone minus Staci -Instead of Heroes vs Villans the team theme will be Gen 1 vs 2 -Mal is kept as the main antagonist but fleshed out more so hes more of a threat than og All-Stars made him -The episode count is back up to 26 like Island, Action, and World Tour - The characters are not derailed and are back to their normal selves -The challenges are actually references to the older seasons with the finale being all the previous finales together basically heres how itd work Part 1 is a throwback to Revenge of the Islands finale where you can use a trash pille to help you complete the challenge Part 2 is a reference to Islands finale where you must climb up a pole to receive a flag and climb a gorge with Shark Infested Waters below wearing Cow and Chicken Hats, Part 3 is a Triva Race a throwback to Actions finale, Part 4 is a throwback to World Tours finale where you need to create a replica of your opponent using the trash pille and throw it off the clift these parts can be done in any order the contestant wants and they can go back to the trash pille to get more materials if they run out, and Part 5 is that the 2 contestants must use the materials to create a floating vechicle and race against each other across Lake Wankawa with the first to reach the finsh line winning the Million Bucks
I’ve been working on a rewrite of Total Drama island if every team lost the challenges they won in the original season For example The bass lose and vote off ezekiel first after losing the hot tub challenge In this one the gophers would lose and it would keep being opposite until the merge

This is a really good rewrite! And I like the way you changed Mal so it would feel balanced since in the actual All Stars he appeared to be a little OP and other villians seemed dumbed down.
All stars Finale should of been Courtney vs Zoey, 1. Girl vs Girl like how in revenge it was boy vs boy, 2. courtney deserved to be in the finale her message since episode 1 season 1 hinted she should of won a season at some point, 3. It would of made since for all stars finale to be one person from the older season(1-3) vs someone from the newer season(season 4)
This should have been the all stars season, I wouldn't change a single thing, I really liked how you took the original cast of total drama all stars without adding and removing contestants, it just feels more realistic; and you also gave a meaning to Sam, Sierra, Jo, Duncan and Cameron's presence in the show. The elimination order is perfect and also unpredictable at times. Amazing job!
My main problem with All Stars is putting all of the antagonists on one team and the protagonists on the other. The whole point of Total Drama to work as a reality show, in my opinion, is to have them on the same team to entertain the audience. That and not bringing back characters such as Leshawna, Brick, Noah, etc.
Ngl, I'm fine with Noah not being there because he didn't make the merge. Also, if I had changed all stars cast, I'd also add owen, harold, leashawna, cody, izzy, brick, and Anne marie
@@incrediblesnn what they could have done was replaced sam with noah since sam even though i like him didn't have that much purpose in either season he was in meanwhile they coud have put noah on the heros team because he did try to stand up to alejandro. then again its all stars so maybe saving noah for RR was a good thing.

I don't hate All Stars to the extent that a lot of people do but it's definitely very disappointing and underwhelming for an all stars season. Just the fact that it's 13 episodes instead of 26 like the first three seasons killed a lot of the potential that it had. These were some good changes though! Especially in regards to Mal. I always liked Mike & Zoey despite how contentious they were within the fanbase but there's no denying that Mal is possibly the single most mishandled character/concept in the whole series. Your version was much better and I really wish we got something like that instead of an over-the-top villain with no rhyme or reason to what he does.

I saw a comment relating to pahkitew before all stars and I think it would've been good if Pahkitew and Revenge did a crossover season to develop the characters more. This was an awesome video, and it was cool that you tried your hardest to stick to the constraints of the original allstars! I actually made an allstars rewrite back in July/August of 2021, but since I didn't watch AS, I essentially rewrote the concept from the ground up! (I'm planning on turning this rewrite into a video) I kind of find it interesting how this is the polar opposite! I think you did the best with what AS had to offer Though I do wanna say, and this is the tiniest nitpick, but isn't Svtlana's trigger being threatened, meaning Mal's trigger is redundant? That's a really dumb nitpick though lol XD
That's crazy, that's actually around the time I started writing this video! (I watched All-Stars in June to refresh my memory on it) It's pretty cool that you wrote without any input from the canon version of AS, so it sounds like it'll be interesting. I hope progress on the vid is going well. As for Svetlana's trigger, Cameron said she comes out when Mike is in an "acrobatically challenging environment" (The Treasure Island of Dr. McLean). However, she also switches in when people introduce her like she's in the Olympics, so her trigger seems to be a lot more flexible than he stated. Admittedly, the trigger I gave to Mal does have a lot of potential overlap with Svetlana's, but that's also why I tried to keep the concept of "being threatened" a bit more nebulous. I definitely could've chosen something else as Mal's trigger, but being threatened was the most versatile thing I could think of since Mike could potentially feel that way during any challenge, and unlike Svetlana it applies to verbal and existential threats as well.
This rewrite is spectacular. I would have been so happy this being the real season. The most impressive part is how you kept it realistic with the small cast and episode count. I’d love to see you rewrite seasons like Revenge of the island and Action next! Again wonderful job!

i like this rewrite idea. and to me it sounds alot better than the original season with plot threads from previous seasons being completed instead of forgotten about or ret-conned i like the depth you added to the Gwen and Courtney friendship that didn't make it super shallow. i'm curious how you would rewrite this season if you could add or replace contestants. in one of my versions of all stars i have gone with 20 contestants and 26 episodes. the other is a closer to the original one with 16 contestants and the same season length (the two extra characters are a self insert on the heroes team and feral Zeke on the villains team) (i managed to make the eliminations work with the 2 extra characters on the show by having moon madness eliminate a contestant rather than swap their teams and having a double elimination pre-merge involving the immunity idol and split votes. )
Thanks for acknowledging the changes I made to Gwen and Courtney. I remember overcomplicating their relationship in the early stages of the video but I'm glad I eventually settled on deliberate deception then redemption for Courtney. I definitely think friendship should've been the win-state of the love triangle so it was pretty interesting to work out. I don't think there's anyone else I'd add/replace other than the characters I mentioned in the missed opportunities section. But I have been thinking about the ways the list of all-star candidates could've been expanded if there was a season between Revenge and All-Stars. I don't think they could've gone the Action route of narrowing down the Revenge cast since it's already pretty small, but if they had added some of the original contestants to this hypothetical season instead, that might've allowed more characters the opportunity to become all-star material. For example if DJ passed the merge one more time or if Dawn had more screen time in general, then I think I'd be far more willing to consider them as equally deserving candidates, but as it is now the existing All-Star cast already has most of the characters I'd expect. Also for your 2nd version of All-Stars, I like how the immunity idol is combined with a split vote. It's dramatic when the idol is used to flip an otherwise unanimous vote, but it's a bit more interesting when its used as a tiebreaker because the circumstances are already so uncertain.
@@neodica5967 for the split vote double elimination it was the egg episode where heather found the immunity idol and Ezekiel stole it all the votes of the villainous vultures were for Ezekiel aside from al and Zeke. Earlier in the episode al talked to feral Zeke saying how he wanted heather gone. And formed an alliance with Zeke to get heather gone. However zeke still remembered season 3 and being used by al in the final three challenge so Zeke voted for al. making al and heather get eliminated in the egg episode. That way I only had 2 previous finalists left in the cast. To make it past the merge.
I love the wholesome vibes this video gives, so I decided to share my own all star cast. For the villains it would be Heather, Gwen, Jo, Courtney, Lightning, Duncan, Scott, Alejandro, and Justin Courtney could be considered a hero in Island, but a villain in Action, and somewhere in the middle in World Tour (maybe leaning a bit towards the evil side) so she’s mostly interchangable between teams. Justin isn't really an all star, but one, I wanted to balance out the teams and gender ratio, but two, it would be really interesting to have him interact with Alejandro, who is similar to him, but is smarter, but Justin has more social charm with his looks. Also, I noticed that Justin when Alejandro was on scene looked particularly angry, suggesting he doesn't like Alejandro already. For the heroes I have Lindsay, Zoey, Izzy, Sierra, Leshawna, Owen, Harold, Cameron, and Mike. Leshawna, Harold, Izzy, and especially Owen are very deserving of All Star status, plus there could be an interesting sub plot between Owen and Izzy rebonding as they ended off on a very bad note I feel. I think Leshawna in particular deserves some redemption, so maybe she would be a finalist in this rewrite. I do like the Mike and Zoey ending, but it's just hard to choose as there are a lot of characters I think deserve to win, particularly Leshawna, Courtney, Zoey, and Mike. It would be 26 episodes and I want to make the challenges actually be more related to the ones in past Total Drama Seasons.
I wouldve change the entire cast. I switched pakitew and allstars in timeline, now the reason for pakitew is that wanakwa is still radiated. And its gonna be a old school big cast presenting the top 4/5 of each season. Cast will be (these are NOT the teams): Island: Leshawna, Duncan, Gwen and Owen. Action: Lindsay, Harold, Courtney and Beth. WT: Sierra, Cody, Heather and Alejandro ROTI: scott, zoey, Cameron and lightning (no mike, shocking i know) PI: Jasmine, sugar(the perfect first to for this season), sky and Shawn Adding the PI cast in it makes it for more unique interactions, old villains can manipulate new an viceversa. And challenges based on former contenders like a Geoff surfing challenge or a Ella musical challenge In short want to make an allstars feel like an allstars
Organizing the cast by season rather than by old vs. new is actually pretty interesting; I don't think I've ever seen anyone else do it like that. Personally I would've just given the Revenge cast a 2nd season to flesh them out more and make All-Stars their 3rd season, but I can see why you would do things this way.

Yeah I can get how putting the main antagonist on the villain team is the more intuitive option. I mainly kept Mal with the heroes for pacing reasons. For example, his plot with Al could theoretically happen at any time but it would feel really weird for a character as skilled as Al to get eliminated during the team portion of the game. And on the flip side, if contact between Mike and Duncan is delayed, the audience wouldn't get the important context of Mal being a threatening delinquent until after the teams merge. Zoey on the other hand probably still would've benefitted from staying with the heroes. Her conflict with Courtney could be fleshed out more and she could be friends with Duncan like in the real show. But at the same time, her conflict with Scott is way more intense and immediate than Courtney since it's carried over from last season, and her friendship with Gwen helps to extend Gwen's relevance until the love triangle resolves. Zoey's relationship with Scott, specifically, is also a bit more mutual than Scott's relationship with Mike since she managed to get back at him. So even though they probably both hate him, I think Scott would be more resentful toward Zoey than he is toward Mike. The other reason I chose to switch Zoey instead of Mike is just that he was already forced to leave her and Cameron in Revenge, so doing that again might feel too familiar. Separating them through a team switch is dramatic either way, but seeing how Mike copes with that situation for the first time and how Zoey handles being without either of them felt more interesting to me.
The biggest problem with All Stars is how it butchered characters like Gwen, Duncan, and ESPECIALLY Courtney. It's clear the writers had no idea what they were doing with these characters and it's a damn shame. I love the dynamic Gwen and Courtney have as friends and would've loved to see that more
It is pretty disappointing that the writers had several directions they could've gone in and yet they still fumbled it with Gwen and Courtney. Even though the path to their reunion was kind of rocky, it will always baffle me why they would choose to throw away all that development in a single episode.
According to◊ Word of God, the original All-Stars line-up included Owen, Cody, and Brick, but later decisions had them replaced with Gwen and Sam, and the cast cut down to 14. However Owen still managed to get a cameo in the finale, while Cody was frequently mentioned by Sierra with his face appearing in her hallucinations. The same line-up also revealed plots that didn't make it into the season such as Courtney getting revenge on Heather, Duncan getting revenge on Courtney, the continuation of Zoey's commando persona, and Scott creating a new and improved strategy after analyzing past Total Drama episodes.
Rewriting an already written story takes a lot of time, just look at: "Total Drama Underdogs", where they gave the best treatment to many campers who didn't make it far. Thanks for the store.
I think that the other thing that should be change is chris craziness. Because is all-stars and brings backs old contestants, I think they should've brought back Chris sanity. It would've been such and enjoyable season like that.
Yea I still kind of like the chaotic version of Mal too even though he has really unclear motivations 😅. I feel like he could've worked better in a different context.

I feel like Cameron didn’t really get much time in the spot light in all stars- which is weird since he was the last seasons winner so clearly he should have a bigger role. Making him more of a team leader makes a lot more sense.
finding this after getting into a nostalgic kick for the original series is super nice to see. I'm glad you ket the winners because honestly it makes the most sense for the finale to be mike/zoey as revenge never really got the second season they deserved and very few people felt like viable winners in all stars aside from maybe Scott (Who carried all stars). mike and zoey had the most momentum going into all stars in terms of potential plus mike and Zoey really felt like the main characters in revenge until Mike's elimination at the hands of scott and focus shifted entirely towards Cameron. and I agree that Mal and the rest of all stars plot points aren't the worst conceptually it was just executed horribly and your ideas fix a lot of the issues with all stars as a season while keeping those initial plotpoints in tact which had so much potential. I do still think Brick was snubbed but if he was in the season i feel like you said it would have changed up the dynamics of the season a lot i hope he gets his time to shine though here's hoping the gen 2 cast gets more love in these new seasons

I imagine Gwen saw herself in reruns of World Tour in-universe and realized what she did was totally lame. .... hmm. I believe that alters are there as a defense mechanism and are essentially there to protect the main personality so them sacrificing themselves is very on point and also a bit anime, reminds me of old animes that are mostly episodic and light but then everyone but the main character dies at the end.
I'll admit that I don't remember much about the Lindsay/ Courtney rivalry since I haven't watched Action in a while. My most recent exposure to that season was switch1e's "The Comprehensive Roast of Total Drama Action". I guess I just didn't think much of it since the rivalry doesn't seem to carry over into World Tour or even All-Stars for the brief time that they're onscreen together. As for Courtney and Scott, I just wasn't very intrigued by their relationship. A finale between contestants from different generations probably would've made more sense, but at the same time it's not like their relationship even amounted to much in the actual show. I do think they're interesting contenders within the context of this rewrite since there's tension between them, Mal, and Zoey, but they might not have ended up in those positions if I had planned for Scott and Courtney as the finalists instead. And since I was trying to conceptualize this rewrite from the perspective of one of the writers, I viewed Scott and Courtney's relationship as subject to change anyway.
Here's my major rewrite if i was on the writing staff. For mal's take-over. I was thinking he would only pop out when mike feels anxious. Or strong feeling of anxiety. Meaning why he is constantly out. Here's the cast revision based on what I'd do for an allstars cast. To make it feel more fun an exciting.. The teams will be divided into two teams. With some classic characters and new characters. Kinda what world tour did. Team A- the flaming birds Noah Courtney Gwen Mike Cameron Alehadro Sammy Jasmine Izzy Sugar Brick Team B- the bursting puffers Scott Harold Duncan Lindsay Heather Jo Lightning Dawn Shawn Sky Zoey Ep 1. The challenge has them diving off a cliff into shark infested water to earn a key to open a chest. The chest has an important advantage to whatever team wins the reward.team A. The flaming birds, looses the challenge due to how dysfunctional the team is. Izzy did cost them the challenge because when she dived off. She didn't grab a key. Courtney tries launching a campaign to boot izzy off. And doesn't let the past get in the way of her trying to win. Izzy does get eliminated. And she ends up running away in the woods. Courtney finds a gift basket and she believes its from duncan. Who is trying to say sorry.. BASICALLY BEING AN IDIOT! Ep 2. The challenge this time around references island,action And revenge of the island. Chris fakes his death and sends the two teams to find the killer. Mike has been getting migrains because of mal. But he doesnt know. Team B looses the challenge. Mainly because of scott sabatoging the team. Lindsay was trying to win the challenge but scott ended up intentionally sabatoging the challenge. They ended up booting scott out. Where scott was okay with getting the boot. We also have a moment where mike feels very anxious. And for a couple of seconds, mike switches between from himself to mal. This two episodes is how i would have set the seeds for future events, and actually do something that TDI characters rarely do. Learn from their mistakes. Lindsay actually did learn. But still makes mistakes.
I skipped most of the intro for time so I don't know if you already set this up as a rule, but what I appreciate about this rewrite is that you took the effort to not completely overhaul anything. I don't think it's necessarily worse or better off that way, but that approach is a lot more challenging than otherwise since you didn't just add or remove anybody from the cast, and you worked out plotlines like Mal's arc and Sierra's "cam-ody" hallucinations instead of taking the easy route by omitting them entirely. It just goes to show really well that the official All-Stars _could_ have been good, even if it had the same general plotlines, but failed from execution.
what if they gave Mal and Mike a realtionship similar to Fat Buu and Super Buu from DBZ as Super Buu is Fat Buu with the evil side in control , Mal would BE Mike but with his evil side in more control As Mal would genuinly consider Cameron and Zoey as his friends and even in love with Zoey a case of Even evil has loved ones and has a venedtta towards Scott for the blackmail lat season
I've never watched DBZ, but for some reason I started getting clips for it a few months ago. I kept watching them and now I just have a deeply skewed idea of the series based on the comment sections of those videos. It's especially distorted cuz they were mixed with TFS dubs, so I have no idea... I just have no idea.
As long the two new seasons are as good as Action I would think are decent. And I dislike All Stars more than Pakitew Island because All Stars ruined 13/14 of its cast Scott being the only one I feel got improvement. While Pakitew The Four to Five I like bring it slightly up in my opinion.
I can see that. I think what it comes down to for most people is whether it's worse to ruin good characters or start with mostly bad characters. But with that in mind, I think what ruins the Pahkitew characters for me is that they're really hard to relate to. Most of them have very narrow appeal and are a bit gimmicky, so the proportion of bad to good characters is a lot more overwhelming compared to the number of characters you liked. I didn't even necessarily hate all of them, but other than Rodney I felt indifferent to the rest of the cast. By contrast, All-Stars isn't the totality of these characters' existence; they all have at least one other good season to round them out. However, once the writers are actually forced to continue building off the changes made in All-Stars, it will become a lot harder to write off and ignore the damage done to them by this season. But for the time being, it's negligible.
