Just a small point but I think you'll find you landed at Sydney airport on runway 16R (not 34R). Landings on 34R are from the south and on the runway extending further out over the bay.
Nice one. This brings back memories. 😃 I used to catch Rex to Sydney when I lived in Bathurst many years ago, but always direct. In pre-COVID days they had 3-4 flights a day I think.
Nice one! That was my first time visiting Bathurst. I had driven through Bathurst many times but never spent any time there apart from maybe a stop off at Maccas. Nice busy town.
hot coffee! I hope Qantas brought them back already on their domestic flights! Wonderful video, I’m hoping to fly Rex Saab planes to regional SA and NSW when borders reopen, particularly Batemans Bay
Yeah was a nice surprise to get a snack and hot drink on board. Very civilised indeed! Did you hear Rex are negotiating to buy some of Virgin's B737s so they can start flying between the capital cities on the East Coast? The plan is for them to have new flights by March next year but who knows with the way things are now.
I too love Rex and often fly from Albury to Sydney and back !Great stuff and the Saab is a great aircraft. Next year they are bringing on board 10 737's and are going to compete against Qantas and Virgin on some of the east coast routes. Should be interesting !! Thanks mate and stay safe and well !!
They sure are a great airline! I hope to fly with them again soon. I heard they expanding with larger jets to do some capital city flights. Great to have more competition in the Austealuan market. I'll definitely try them when they on-board the B737s.
I'll also add that when we landing in Parkes, the cabin crew did a great job wiping down all the seats and tray tables with disinfectant were there had been a passenger seated.
