It goes to mine as well, Agudie Darko, daddy loves you so so much, you're the best thing that happened to me, this is one of the songs I use to love should Incase you see this in the future
This song made me fall in love with the Ga language as a child. I swore to learn it. Agya Owuau would blast this song every Saturday morning when washing his master's clothes. Dichemso, I will never forget you
I remenber when it was released and the following Christmas. It was played at every party and it has remained my favourite Highlife Jam since. Well arranged. I can still smell that Harmattan and Christmas after listening to the song. Thank you uncle Rex
Myself I live here in America, been trying to contact this man. I want to fly to Germany next summer go look for them. I was a little boy when my late dad played this song in Accra
Nostalgic feelings all over, this song will be blasting on the only radio set owned by my grandma on saturday afternoons...in the 80,s best time ever ❤
I always come back to this song. It's a song I dedicate to all the wonderful people in my life especially my family. Let us always remember each other.
Given the current tribal and ethnic confusion that threatens to erode the peace and civility characteristic of Ghana, one would expect musicians and entertainers to inspire the nation with soul-searching and uplifting songs like this. The current musicians' inability to produce refreshing and unifying songs like these, especially in such critical times, oblivious to the rhetorics, jingoistic rants, and warmongering of bloggers and social media influencers reflects what our society has become. Folks the Ghana of old is gone, and so is our respect for traditional leaders and the era of good musicians like Rex Gyamfi, Amandzeba, C.K Mann, Nana Ampadu, Kojo Antwi, Paapa Yankson, etc.
I don't think so, although it may seem so. I think it's because he left the stage after a brief period. This album of his cemented burger hilife after its introdiction by George Darko and Lee Duodu if you ask me.
I dedicate this song to the love of my life who will never be mine. I'm glad to love you from a distance. Paa God bless you. You did it without a word, without a touch without a sign. You did it by just being yourself.
