In this episode we head to King Island folks. The locals made we welcome in a BIG way as you'll see.
The man with the local knowledge is general store owner, Terry Perry. Wait until you see this place. You name it, they have it. There's everything in this store. Terry and I then head to Phoques Bay for a spot of beach fishing for Australian Salmon. It didn't disappoint.

When I hear and see the intro start I get goose bumps that travel to my soul. Takes me back to when I was a kid in school when times were alot different. My parents were together, I hadn't kissed girl yet, sandy the dog I grew up with was running around and all my grandparents were alive. Even hearing Rexes voice wether its old radio/TV footy shows or fishing shows gets me abit emotional. There will never be a fishing show even close to what this empire was over the many years. Rexes humour, fantastic communication skills, and all out love for fishing, footy and nature what its all about... love ya Rex. Wagons Hoooo 🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬

Beautiful to watch your videos, im the only person who copies you still rex, since childhood, i adore all the videos, what a great man... :) ☺️😊 i used to kiss all my fish and put them back when i used to fish alot, english fishing childhood 💪 my favorite fisherman of all time. Ive been chasing down my childhood, based on the current circumstances in the world 🫣 Alots changed, in general. Great work rex, things will never be as good again. You couldnt ask for a better fisherman, ect... endless amounts of a person.

Grew up watching Mat Hayes and Rex Hunt fishing adventures! I think Rex Hunt was my favorite just abouts. I would watch these episodes and attempt the things i learned when fishing with my dad, even started sneaking out and going fishing on myself, (not advised let people know where you are)...20 years later im still fishing! Thankyou Rex for contributing to one of my favorite past times... Im watching fishing channels and came acrossd Hayes, then i thought "I wonder if Rex is still going"....you are, and how happy i am that you are....i've subed!!...time to learn some more skills while creating new memories with my son...Thanks Rex and takecare.

Back when the Internet was just in its beginning I only had this guy and John Wilson to learn about fishing! 1987/8/9 I loved it I was hooked on fishing at 5 years old when my grandad took me fishing in the holidays and after my first wrasse I never looked back 😢 😀 😐
