Folks in this episode Steve Starling and I were honoured to be invited to fish with a fishing icon.
Legendary angler, author and television presenter John Wilson MBE invited us to his home and private lake in the UK. He took us both on a tour of his property and Steve fished with John and caught his first Common Carp.
John wrote over twenty books on the art of angling and produced countless television fishing programs. Sadly John passed away at his home in Thailand in November 2018.
His bubbly, enthusiastic personality inspired a generation to pick up a rod and go fishing.
