Great video! I don’t know about you but 1 of the GS Type 3s at this crossing sounds a tiny bit on the scratchy side, I like it. I also like the faded look on one gate and the vandalised gate on the other, it kind of adds character to the crossing (and to the area, lol). Faded gates are something I really like for some reason. It also makes the crossing look a tad bit older.
Thanks man :) yeah now I listen to it, the one on the western side is a lil bit scratchy, you wouldn't know if you didn't listen carefully. lol i like it too. Gives it some ambience
Great video and crossing! This must be one of the quietest crossings in Melbourne lol. The removal does seem a bit pointless considering the low volume of traffic and short activation times, but as you said it's probably only being removed because of the other crossings nearby.
McK&H Aust Absolutely pointless to be removing this level crossing. The Andrews' government are dumb as when it comes to prioritising which level crossings should be removed and which ones shouldn't. They trumpet about how successful that their level crossing removal program is, yet they are so incompetent as to remove quiet level crossings such as this one and then ignore busier ones like the nearby Brunswick Road Level Crossing, plus several others that are even busier and more congested than that one.
Great video . It’s a nice crossing and a definitely pointless removal as it barley sees any cars . Glad that the bells are GS type 3s but wish they were Barker techies . I like how the faded gates give the crossing a bit of character but i don’t really like all the graffiti on the signs
