@@Rversse Yeah I'd prefer cargo hauling trucks for separate DLC rather than scouts as most of them perform very similarly. A good 6x6 from Mudrunner would be great

@@phoenix0166 winching a fuel trailer isn't an issue as it's just proximity transfer but it really limits the use of the scout maintenance trailers :( Why put them in if most scouts that can tow them aren't actually big enough to do so

@@DecPlays_ at least we got a 4th Jeep in the game! (Technically) But yeah, not really a fan of winching trailers because they always seem to roll over when I do that. Of course, I don’t really use scout trailers at all but still.

@@FunkyBaconArts well the tank cannot even tow a trailer properly so it's kind of pointless. For proper trucks though you want the maximum power because you never know what's going to happen. Only in Hard Mode would I fuss about fuel consumption and even then I'd only downgrade an engine on something like a Paystar 5600 TS. I can probably count the number of times I've run out of fuel on one hand, it happens so infrequently because there's so much fuel spread around every map. Stock gearbox is for definitely a no go. Why limit yourself, especially when the Special box is available, more low gears, a high gear and lots of auto gears (the Tank special gearbox is unique). Sure it uses more fuel but then AWD doesn't consume extra fuel. If you are struggling with towing something due to lack of weight, add some cargo ballast or a heavier truck.

@@DecPlays_ I'm talking about scouts, not trucks. Most scouts just dig themselves into a hole when trying to pull anything heavy, be it via hitch or winch. Like I never felt like I needed MORE power in a scout when using a stock engine cause it either pulls things just fine or the wheels keep spinning because the object is too heavy for a light vehicle. There's some exceptions such as the Ford F750 needing its big engine to be any good. Also I do wish the Burlak had a bigger engine cause that one is a bit on the weak side. As for gearbox, (again, this is scouts we're talking about) the stock one uses the least amount of fuel and have a smaller AWD penalty (10% for stock) compared to Snowrunner (80%) or Freeway (40%), and most scouts don't have a Special gearbox. So that's why I prefer using the stock gearbox since it gives much better milage for scouting the map and the high-gear tends to feel rather slow and auto works just fine on most scouts, also Low+ isn't that important on smaller scouts either, especially if they already have Diff-Lock always on. Some exceptions apply such as the Loadstar being really darn fast and stable with the Highway gearbox. And yeah I play on a custom game with settings similar to hard mode so fuel economy does matter. Even so, I rarely see a point in using big engines on scouts when they simply cannot pull anything that would have required that extra power anyway.

@@SnarkyRC Snowrunner and it's DLC have been a mega money maker for Saber and Focus Interactive! With Snowrunner being its biggest earner in recent years. They're hardly struggling and you shouldn't shame people for not buying DLC, especially when it doesn't really add anything and it already has nearly 3.5 years of content which a lot of people have purchased. Plus I support the Devs by creating videos and live-streaming the game which is free advertising for them and because of the content creation, I do buy everything for Snowrunner...

Hercules is so disappointing. It looks more capable than it is.
