Ricciardi is the modern simracer hero in a nutshell. Zero respect about the basic rules, zero respect about the other racers, he's the god of the track... Instant lifetime ban in my opinion. But great job from You, well played!
Yeah, it wasn’t great! Possible it was an honest mistake and he just accidentally launched on the wrong horn sound, but even that doesn’t justify smashing into people as you drive past. I think the guy behind me will have got a drive through penalty for it too, because he was pushed forward before the race started. Very poor!

Thanks David, yeah that’s it. If I’d just got into P2 before Pedro had chance to open up that 3sec lead, I’m pretty sure I would have found a way past him to take the win.
Hey Chris, I love watching your races with commentary, seeing you play rF2 brought back memories, I have played this game for thousands of hours but years ago when the game was first released, I cant believe they have not released rF3 by now. I do miss the old days, the community was so big back in the early days and I use to be so proud to be one of the fastest around at the time.
Brilliant, yeah I’m quite a newcomer to rF2… I only really discovered it when it had its brief run on Low Fuel Motorsport. I struggle to get it running smoothly a lot of the time, but it was flawless in this one. Cheers!

Unlucky on that one Chris. A couple of hairy moments, but thankfully they worked out in your favour. There's nothing worse than narrow tracks and back markers. I've been there many times myself, and there's nothing more frustrating than slower cars getting in your way, where there's nothing you can do. On to the next 👍
Cheers, yeah if I’d just got past P2 on the first couple of laps and been closer to P1, I reckon I’d have won it. Putting the leader under pressure for the entire race would have definitely forced him into a mistake. As it was, he only had to cling on for a few laps. Which he did brilliantly. Cheers!
@@firstjayjay I probably won’t get it while it’s in early access. I’ll wait a while, until all the bugs and issues have been sorted. I’ve already got more sims on my PC than I’ve got time to play them, so not in a hurry to add yet another one at this moment 🤣
Yes mate, it’s the free version of the RaceLab overlays. There are loads more you can display, but I just keep it simple with the relative board and the radar 👍
Great race , great effort and an amazing result! 💪 Sadly the pole position driver killed from a crash kid disgusting behavior at the start and as a back marker ! Thankfully it went better for both of you when you passed him than the driver in the start ! Great hard battle and fair between you and the race winner ! 👍! I think there definitely would have been a penalty for that. I’m pretty sure I switched my ‘message centre’ off on my hud to make it a bit cleaner. So I reckon there was a penalty given, but it just didn’t pop up on my screen. I also reckon the guy behind me on the grid would have got a jump start penalty too… because Ricciardi literally bumped him forward before the lights went green. I bet he was fuming!
Hey. The tyre box is actually part of the in-game rF2 hud! It’s the MFD box, which you can cycle through until you get to tyres/damage. Then I leave that there, and use RaceLabs for the other bits 👍
@@EmanHowellsAhh ok, well I’ve knowingly made any changes to how it appears… that’s just how it appeared. Hopefully soon rf2 will give their hud a refresh anyway… it looks terrible! Particularly compared to the one they’ve introduced for LMU. I’m hoping they might port that one over. RaceLab is good, but it does cause some big stutters for me on rf2
@@chrisrogerssimracing I've been having some stutters lately on RF2 and Iracing now And I've been wondering where it's coming from but it only started like a few days ago hummmm ..... There was a new amd Radeon graphics update And it seem to happen after that but maybe it's race lab. Anyways, thanks for your input as always
