Would love to see you do a Woods of Infinity/Aktion T-4 episode. It’s the same dude. WoI is more traditional BM, and AT4 is NSBM/RAC but both projects are heavy on the tongue-in-cheek. First came on my radar with “Summer is not my Friend” and the lyrics are hilarious.
When it comes to inaccessible black metal bordering on the genre, these dungeon synthish, experimental and strange journeys have always convinced me the most. I haven't listened to Haritsuke much, but I remember it fondly and after this episode I feel like refreshing it. Of course, I always appreciate references to classic Godzilla. Japanese bands seem to have a special weakness for King Gidorah (I remember Seikima II for sure). Hail from Poland!
I love this band, the "Seppuku" EP is just 👌🏻 just to say there is a single that came out after the 2023 Halloween release, and according to Metallum its a girl behind the project.
Really enjoy your channel. just stumbled upon it when looking for stuff on Intestine Baalism. One of my fav bands as well since they released their debut. Also love seeing your dive into Japanese metal, there is so much cool and fresh unique inspiring stuff from Japan. Wanted to message you regarding my debut album, but couldn't figure out how to do so...anyway feel free to check it out. Stay heavy and creative, cheers !
Honestly, those circus keyboards remind me of Mysticum. The third song on the first ep reminds me a bit of the (metal) album from Velvet Cacoon, sound wise.
Really neat episode this time around. I tend not to be very attracted to dungeon synth adjacent projects, but the way these incredibly muffled pieces are composed was incredibly appealing. Not to mention there’s kaiju stuff, so I’m all in. Honestly underneath all of the dungeony aesthetic, it’s incredibly abrasive for something like this. It’s very dark and heavy considering what I was expecting. Completely unrelated, what do you think of Dead Infection? I’ve heard you talk about them in bits, but nothing really conclusive. Have you thought about doing an RFI on them at some point? Really great work on this one!
@@radiofreeinnsmouth1337 You’re not a fan of Brain Corrosion? I remember thinking it was less groundbreaking, but equally great as the first two albums.
5 am. Day already ruined. Why the HELL was this shit canned. The 2023 Halloween single was probably my favourite bm release last year. Hope the project comes back someday, with new material hopefully. Oh well... thoughts on Christ Agony?
Christ Agony's pretty fantastic, I've thought about doing something on them in the past but I feel like I need to listen to their albums more to do them justice. Moonlight especially is a sick album.
