Love the video..but what is the maximum length the louvers can be? I'm thinking of making a shutter that will have 30 in louvers. Is this ok? Or should I just make 2 smaller shutters. Thank you!
THANKS,,, needed advice on blade size,,, very informative. I may disagree that value of home needs to be 700k to place in a home. They are not that expensive to dress up a 250k condo, or I just like nicer moldings, crown, and nicer doors than a builder will provide. It is shameful the junk a builder will put in even a 500k home. We are talking hundreds, not thousands to provide crown and 5 in base molding. And heaven forbid to include plantation blinds in a kitchen or part of home. 5 quotes is a lot of work, when you consider the variance in quality of work and installation differences. Some may give a better price, but maybe cheat on material or frames provided. I looked on internet to get basic idea, then called the most expensive to get idea of quality looking for, then went to Home Depot for value on installation costs. It comes down to square footage and little extras provided on hinges and maybe colors offered. I always like off white for wood work as stark whites will yellow over time on trim work in home. Thanks again for info and giving correct blade width to go with.
