Update: Retro gaming with Deadfred orderd a R40S Pro of amazon and did a comparison with the R36S. Your rexperience may vary but it turns out the one he received is nothing more than a R36S in a slightly different shell. You can check his video here at this link: • R40S Pro Unboxing And ... . The R36 S is a pretty decent handheld for the price it is avalable for on Aliexpress but you will pay significantly less for it on aliexpress. The shipping time is less if you buy from Amazon and retrurns are easier so it may be worth the extra $20-$30 but that is a choice each man needs to make for himself.
Update 11-09=24: Anbernic has anounced the RG406V which was basically the Vertical version of the RG406M.
This makes me wonder whether or not we will still ppossibly get a Rg406M? Maybe the rumours this video revers to was in regards to the Rg406V
The specs on the RG 406V is a bit disappointing in my opinion to be honest.
It has a 960x720 IPS screen and a Unisoc T820 processor with 8gb of ram.
So basically a RG556 or RGCube in a vertical form factor.
Would have loved it if they had at least put a OLED do display on it, but I guess it's not to be.
