Great show, I was disappointed the Lamborghini series dosen't have some older Lamborghinis like the Miura and the Espada or even a Marzal.

Mattel just uses what they have in their tool banks. I don't believe that they have ever introduced a new model in these 8-car sets.

Thanks for another great show, Mark. I'm now envious of collectors who live in Singapore - to be able to have a huge selection of Tomica models at your fingertips, as shown in Mohammad's video (thank you for that), must be a dream of a lot of UK collectors, who love the great Japanese cars of the 50's, 60's, and 70's, but have to pay an arm and a leg for them. They are stupidly cool, and remind me of the 1960's Lesney Matchbox models, especially as they come in a little box. Interesting too, to see some Majorette models are still supplied in 'Cardless bubbles'. That's how they were packaged in the 1980's; previously, they were packed in resealable clear styrene cases, with a base that could be clipped on and off, but were very prone to breaking. Loved the display of models at the end of the video. Several models that I don't like at all - but the decorations on all of them are absolutely superb. Nice one. Cheers!

"Clickedy-click" hahaha Thanks for clearing up if the roof on that Porsche opens or not! It looks great without the roof! Also good it doesn't fall of easy so it won't get lost :) Great to see the MJs on the HW track too. That Countach looks great too! I found the Lamborghini series but that one I didn't find, didn't know it was Metal/metal!!! All those cars over there in Singapore!!! Tomica, HW and so many MJs! Love the ones at 21:24 in the classic MJ packaging. Thanks for the vid Mohammed! (sorry if your name isn't written that way) Great weekend show Mark!

On the topic of stores not putting out stock on release dates it is a problem worldwide with so many lines and so many store exclusives It can be hard to get on top of your collection when your looking for the item you want the most. Another great Weekend Show!!!!

OMG, this is why I love what you do. I can't stand most of the Fantasy cars, but you have open my mind up to look at them differently and I now enjoy them, then you show us this ? Wow. I am really surprised by the delayed release of the HW Lamborghini set in the USA, since we found this set here in NZ 3 months ago today (March 24th 2017 - DCTV Lite Ep 211)! Mohammed's in-store video from Singapore was interesting - especially the large variety of Tomica on display! The exclusive 20 pack cars were nice to see, they were well covered in tampos! Thanks for this video Mark =)

Nope, at [27:14] that is a 20 CAR LIMITED EDITION 1 OF 5000 pack that Mark was showing the cars from. I think you were confused with the 10 packs immediately prior in Mohammed's video footage.

same thing happened to the 2 toys r us stores in my area went at lunch time to one and nothing was put out that day I did find them in another toy r us store later that week decided not to get any at this time looks like we won't get the same assortment that is available in other countries I hope what happened with the USA Tomy stuff won't happen again

My home town stores has a very bad habit on not putting things out on the street dates too. Unlike your video they will not get it out of the back. They will say sorry we can not do that. This is why stores like my home town are going out of business because of poor customer service. People are just shopping online

In my country of Slovenia majorette was the best brand when I was a kid and I still believe they are the best car to play with oh and by the way that was in 80s nice day greetings from Slovenia so you know you are watched worldwide

as for TRU and the Majorettes ... our local store seemed to put them out ever other day on the pegs when they got the shipment.. like 3 weeks b4 the sell date. so the GTRs where scooped up first. Since they where on the floor they had to sell them. but they would pull them right back off. then 1 or 2 days later they would be back out... by the time the official date came, there wasn't anything left except the haulers.

on the EC all the TRUs by me had the Majorettes on pegs two weeks earlier then expected, they weren't even in the cash register systems yet and they had to get a manager to come over to override and enter them in manually. By time the actual release date came they were all sold out.

all Majorettes hit TRU a week or two early. scalpers hit them hard for all the GT-R's, blue and white ones... So if you want them, you will find them only on eBay or from scalpers on IG. The Majorette USA launch was a disaster and as a collector, I am mad.

after TRU realized they were out too early, they put them back up to be rereleased... missing some cars of course.

Ok after reading that, I don't feel bad, cause no Skyline GTR' at the Stockton or Modesto TRU only 1 Ford Focus/Fiesta?, at the Modesto one, and i took it ❗
