I was born and raised in NY Had such a wonderful life with style! Those colors of gold, copper, bronze with taupe/ bone and creams are what I use now in my Florida home They’re elegant and neutral I’m glad you enjoyed yourself! 😊 There was no place like NYC ❤
Love RH! ❤ It’s the look I’ve aspired to for years! Especially love how they meld old world design with modern + classic….Thank you for the tour! 🤗 I agree with other comments that their overall look hasn’t changed a lot….yet that’s a lot of what I love about them! 😉😄
Thanks for this tour. 😊 I appreciate their color pallets which are so calming. I lived in Manhattan in the 1980s before RH and the one constant wow is the views. They are like no other. Since RH is a California company, their designers don't seem to have any East Coast inspiration which is sad to see. They should get on a plane once in a while. It seems they are still just an expensive version of Pottery Barn... a SF company. Over the years I have grown to love the Ralph Lauren showrooms for their classic collections more than RH and PB.
Thank you Valentina For the tour At RH I love the Style, Yes, it is pricey for my budget. But I have style my home similar to that look , And I love the tours of your house. It is beautiful I Love that Style
Thank you, thank you Valentina and Jack! It is such a pleasure to see these designs. Quite frankly, you Valentina, are just as good of an interior stylist.
I noticed that rh has not progressed too much to the newer styles like rattan cabinets and swivel chairs more color etc they are pretty much consistent with their style which has become a bit boring! Thanks for the tour though! Will definitely check out their roof top cafe❤❤❤
Many many thanks for sharing this Valentina! I so wish we had RH here in The Nederlands or in Norway. Hope you come with tips for copying (do you say that or maybe dupes...) RH with accessible things from Amazon....
Wow Valentina Thank you for taking us along on a tour of RH, I certainly appreciate videos like this and just drool 🤤 over such beautiful pieces of furniture and decor, something we don’t have here in Australia 🇦🇺 or not in the city where I live, I’ve decided next time we travel overseas I’m going looking at all the furniture and decor stores that I possibly can instead of all the other stuff I usually look at, you’ve opened my eyes up to a whole different world of shopping possibilities next time we travel, I’m sure if we saw something we loved it wouldn’t be hard to have it shipped home to Australia 🇦🇺, next time we travel which is usual to the USA 🇺🇸 I’m going to report back to your channel and make a list of as many stores I can to check out while we’re away. Thank you for sharing this store with us, I was sitting here with a Big Sigh looking at all the beautiful pieces of furniture. I’d be grabbing a coffee and going around sitting on every sofa pretending this was my home Lol 😂 in some of those spaces. A Big Ahhhhh moment. 🤩🤩💙💖🇦🇺
Lovely tour- quite professional. The colour you spoke of (grey), certainly didn't read as grey. That's why you have to go in store at times ( if you can)to get a good idea of what you see online.
I think they put the contrast in matte and high gloss (in lack of a better term), in the bedroom of the modern bedroom. I think this is the best interpretation of glam style that I've seen!
A very enjoyable NUANCED presentation STYLE which I so prefer to the unbridled enthusiasm over the "BIG HAUL", or punctate declarations of "I HAVE TO HAVE IT".) (We all have times of being enamored of things we desire, but except for product promotion, it is often beneficial to step back a bit from "I WANT IT ALL"!) Best Wishes!
I've come to not enjoy the constant "Haul" content creators. I do enjoy seeing whats in stores at times but pass over what bores me lol. Understandable though with this channel as V is a legitimate Designer/Decorator and in Real Estate.
I love all of your content. I’ve been watching your channel for awhile. Can you please share where to find the tall vessels on your fireplace behind you? They are beautiful.
Great video - love RH restaurants, been to the San Francisco one and loved it and the restaurant in Yountville, CA. I will go to the NY one on my next trip there. Thanks!!
Valentina, i love your videos & have been following them for years. I have a favor to ask just because it’s been tough looking for answers on the internet. Can you give tips on how to design an aesthetic playroom for an older child (closer to 10)? Is it even possible?
What are the rules for mixing dining chair colors in different rooms? I have a kitchen area right off the dining room. Both have a reclaimed oak dark brown tables, round in dining and parsons table rectangular in kitchen. I currently have RH Hudson Parson chairs in dark brown oak and Dove perennials performance textured linen weave fabric. I need more dining chairs. Can use another shade of grey or even natural fabric color or should I continue the Dove color
do you know if AG1 has a formula for a gastric bypass patient? Im supposed to take double of the daily amount of vitamins and calcium? Ty always love your videos V!
Nah, it looks too much like a 1970s museum - how on earth do you curl up on those rigid curved sofas after a hard long day at work, it's just so not real life, it's la la land
RH looks the same as it did 5 years ago, 10 years ago, etc. Same boring, overpriced, pretentious furniture/decor. They were great when they started but never evolved. They just settled into this bland, all neutral palette year after year. The store just feels so morose when you walk through and the small, mummified looking body laying across the coffee table as decor seems to lean into that feeling.
I miss the old RH stores that had some affordable things, sales, clearances, and those kitschy Christmas gifts. The stores now are art galleries filled with really expensive things. Gorgeous to stroll through, though. Thanks for the tour of this one!
RH is for extremely wealthy people like celebrities. We don't have a house that big for those gigantic furniture. I don't understand why average people would obsess about this overrated and overpriced furniture.
