I pre-ordered a pair of these from RHA directly back in November and have used them in rotation with a few other IEMs since. They have very clean, non-laggy sound, with a fairly balanced SQ and very strong BT connection. They don’t have the emphasized bass that some EDM or bass-heads prefer, but are quite engaging otherwise. The silicon and Comply tips allows for a better, more customized fit and I’ve not experienced them falling out while running or working out. The case design is nice, but a bit large to carry comfortably. Battery life is very close to 5 hours of use. They have the second best telephone call quality after the AirPods. The biggest problem right now is finding a pair as it seems that demand has outstripped RHA’s ability to meet it. The pre-order price is $169, if memory serves. The $228 pricing some have commented on is from resellers looking to make a buck.
Miah they have no connectivity issues in my experience. Good sound quality, great for phone calls and comfortable. The five hour battery life is real. They are really good. The con is if you have multiple devices you want to connect to, they don’t consistently do that. You need to put them back in the case and then associate them to another device
There was an issue - unit(s) did not shut off when placed in charger case - which RHA sorted out at their UK lab. I did have to return them (from USA to UK) to RHA, but RHA paid shipping both ways and corrected the issue no problem. I've been using them for >9 mos since then without issues. Sound quality through all ranges is quite good. Connectivity is excellent. Battery life and quick recharge are excellent.
I was really surprised, how well these bad boys played Deathcore and Beatdown. Its genres that a lot of speakers struggle with and these just crushed right trough the songs.
Thanks for the review! A few days ago I got the Jabra Elite Active 65t and tried them for three days. Although I liked them a lot (great sound and app, pretty good voice calls), unfortunately I had to return them because they kept hurting my ears. Regardless the eartip I used (included or not) I never managed to feel comfortable wearing them. Do you believe that the RHAs have a much more comfortable fit?
lets not bring subjective points into the conversation. the AirPods look very nice to some (including me), but not others. as for being consistently brought up, its because they are one of the very few that are priced right and have an impressive battery life and set of features.
Avoid TruConnect at all costs. No reviewer is talking about the connection issues they have. Pathetic they are!! Do read user reviews before considering them.
Overblown and talk about too much you could have just said I like these and then explain why everything else was too happy to be believed pricing is the most deciding factor and buying headphones of any kind and especially Wireless 50 - $60 is the most anybody should pay I can't pay for my name recognition I would never pay $300 because someone put their name on it whether it be Bose or Beats
For next gen wireless 5 hours still is laughable. The main point I want to know is how seamless are they when you put them in your ear and music starts playing and do they connect to pc easily
