Tbh I think Rhea vacating is more for storyline purposes than for her injury. This way it sets her up as the ultimate babyface and turns Liv into the ultimate heel. This feud is going to feed us real good.
@Luckyabby4455 yeah I know the injury is real but I mean the vacating angle, based on current rumours she might be back by Summerslam so there isn't really a need for her to vacate the championship.
@@euanpetersen7751 no one has officially confirmed how long she’s gonna be out and they don’t know the extent of the injury yet. And shoulder injuries can be extremely tricky. Like sheamus was said to only be out for a month or two and was out for 8. I think they were being safe than sorry with Rhea, and have her have proper a recovery and rehab especially that she’s not even in the peak of her career and is so young and they don’t want her to have a career ending injury at 27.
its probably also so she can win the belt multiple times like how charlotte and others have. setting her up to break records eventually when the time comes.
I’m torn on who should get the title next week between Liv and Nia . I think depending on how long Rhea is going to be out for should determine who gets it tbh . If she’s out for quite a while then I’d give it to Nia first then have Liv win it off her at some point down the line. Then when Rhea is on the mend and ready to come back have them continue on there feud . However if Rhea is not gone for that long I’d give it to Liv then maybe set up Liv vs Rhea for Summerslam .
It's crazy to me that they aren't going to do a tourney over the next few Raws/Smackdowns and then have the final 2 at Backlash. I mean with only one week, are they just going to "name" a champion (they could bring back Becks and just say it's her as she was Rhea's last #1 contender) or are they going to name Liv and Nia as duking it out for the title on a single night.

If I were to ship two female wrestlers together in WWE it would be Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade. Best friends turned rivals reunited as lovers. A common theme that can be found in many Lesbian Romance Novels I have read. lol
I just hope that liv is the one who will be the champion she deserves a second solid run with crazy persona. And hopefully retain the title until rhea returned

Bianca holds the record for the longest singular Women's championship reign of the current era with 420 days. Becky holds the record for most combined days for the Raw Women's championship, now WWE Women's championship. Trish Stratus still holds the record for the longest title reign with 448 days.

That's your fault for not being specific. You tried to big them up as the most dominant reigns when Becky and Bianca had longer and more dominant reigns. So check yourself again. Rhea injured her AC joint between her elbow and shoulder, the longest recovery time is 6 weeks so i feel theyve done this to give her a break AND make Liv heel, summerslam fues confirmed
I can't stand that AEW is doing a lesbian storyline, I wouldn't mind it if it was a legit storyline, but this is just sexualization just for ratings and it's cheap and classless. I'm a lesbian myself and I can't stand stuff like this. I love how Sonya DeVille was showing her pride, and I wish Indy Hartwell would do a little something. I know she's out, but her character obviously isn't. And I understand that's her decision and I totally respect that. But the only reason I wish she would would be to counteract the stupidity of the AEW storyline. You have no idea how many times guys have thought that's how it is with two girls, it's something between reality and porn, which it is nothing like porn. It's just maddening and frustrating AEW is sexualizing their female talent in this way just to get ratings. Their main issue has been lack of decent storylines, and this is a prime example of a bad story. They have a legit badass in Athena as the ROH champion, so instead of showing her, who has amazing talent in the ring and building a decent story that way, they go the cheap and classless route.
I will say it's not completely out of nowhere for Mariah and Mina. They alluded to being more than just friends back during Stardom. AEW just has to do a better job of explaining that their friendship had more layers to it than just them being friends.
Before she was "named" and appeared in the ring, Brinley actually appeared seated directly behind Thea in a ton of Chase U promo skits (same w/Adriana Rizzo). Brinley's character is so similar, I wish they'd retcon it and put Brinley back w/Chase U and let her and Thea tag together.
Oh, and I def think Sol Ruca will be the inaugural Women's North American Champion. The push she's getting coming back from an injury, she NXT's literal "golden girl".

I wonder if what happened with Tiffany's theme on Smackdown was a mistake? I remember a few months back on Raw they accidentally played Sami Zayn's heel theme instead of his usual theme during one segment but later in the show they played the right one. It’s obviously a storyline. They didn’t want to have Rhea pinned so in order to lose the belt it’s better to vacate. In RL maybe she’s trying to make plans for the wedding as her fiancé is an AEW wrestler so they gotta make time I guess. And with Ms. Alexa Bliss rumored to being credited to appear Monday who knows.

I think Mecercedes is probably gonna do what jade did in WWE and just make us wait a little bit and tease us until a big event like double or nothing. Tbh it did work for jade. The pay off was HUGE. But I wouldnt really expect the exact same results for Mecerdes we already know what she can do. Were just ready for her to come back and pick up where she left off.
Mone segment was trash hope it gets better but wasn’t good at all. Willow is my favorite female on AEW right now. The story telling in the division is all over the place. Storm character work continues to be the most captivating thing about the product. Thunders promo was cringe.
Bianca and Jade together seems way too strong for the women's division that it seems unfair. I hope everyone can make creative tag finish or outsmarting them to balance and counter-act the powerhouses. To me, that seems to be the only way to maintain the women's division competitiveness so it's not an obvious squash match. Bianca and Jade can still be dominant if they show the audience that they learned their opponent's game.
I want Nia to win, but this is already so focused on Liv. Prob they gonna give Becky a farewell run now that Rhea is off and eventually Liv will get the title from her and wait for Rhea to dethrone her.
Lots of people think that liv can’t be a champion and she doesn’t have that star power. I think this is the perfect way to turn her into a mega star heel is by giving her the belt when people think she’s not ready and have her hog that title.
