I say that to my husband all the time. We have a little Shih Tzu named Lily. She's almost 13 and I've said asked him from the get go why he doesn't treat me like her.
Wow, this is the 3rd guest appearance I’ve seen this month. You’re right, Rhett! I went back to S1E1 to re-binge. And I wouldn’t change a thing! I see two people accidentally hit the wrong thumb.
I wish channels like these would read the question out loud. People who use/need captions cannot see the questions on mobile. It's so hard and honestly drives me away from videos. I wish I could gladly enjoy watching my favorite RU-vidrs on this channel, but it's an accessibility issue.
@NoochTV The questions aren't asked via dialogue. Aka not radio friendly, brought to you from a "Satellite Radio Broadcaster" aka ni subtitles, only dialogue..
@NoochTV If you don't understand the idea of an interview, where questions are Asked by a person and answered by the interviewee then I can't help you understand.
Wait, are they just answering for themselves or each other? Is that really a quiz then if they cant get the answer wrong. Should this be call rhett and link best friend opinions?
Well Link let his hair gray naturally and Rhett has decided to rock the mountain man look lol but I still think they look pretty handsome for dudes their age.
@@SunflowerSpotlight it really was good. I'm notorious for starting books and giving up on them because they don't hold my attention but this book kept me hooked and was really well written. Great characters, humour and very dark at times. I'm not sure I'd class it as horror as it has been but definitely not for children. The personal elements of Rhett and Link's lives that were weaved into the book actually made it very moving at the end if you know about their real life stories. My only complaint was honestly that it was over too soon, I hope if they follow it up it will be a much more substantial length. I really enjoyed it.
L0ST S0UL Oh yeah, definitely! But just from what I’ve seen, I’m more likely to want to throw the book across the room because I can’t edit it before someone sees the writing (which is so bad it makes me get this pit in my stomach) if it’s written by someone who’s “made it,” in some way. And RU-vidrs seem less likely to use ghostwriters, so that makes it more likely to not meet what I’d consider a minimal baseline for printing. Usually it takes two years from signing the contract to get it on the shelf and many RU-vidr books want to capitalize on the moment, so they’re rushed and not as good. I kind of look at my job as helping people achieve their dreams. I am an advocate for them and their stories. I want their characters to be known and heard, to be able to live somewhere other than the author’s head. I have been honored to be able to help some very gifted people. I don’t like being rude or harsh, and try to always have more positive notes than negative ones, because no one needs a jerk of a know-it-all as an editor, being that guy who has to get in people’s faces and make it some superiority thing. It’s why I legitimately have a visceral reaction when I see work that is irretrievably published, when it’s obviously... not very good. I just hate to see it happen to people I otherwise really like, people I see as being pretty nice. It’s disheartening. So I kind of... don’t dive in to a RU-vidr’s book without knowing how about five people feel. A defense mechanism, I guess.
Bluesilva Halo Thanks for the reply and review! I don’t generally dive in anymore if I don’t know how people feel. It sucks to not be able to help change perception for the better when I see a particularly disappointing book, from crutch phrasing to the Comma Swamp, to timing issues. The more I like the author, the more it distresses me, so with them I’ve kept well away. I wasn’t sure what time to expect from them, so I really truly appreciate you letting me know you thoughts! Also! If you haven’t, you might consider reviewing it. It really helps authors out, from getting them featured, to swaying undecideds, to securing a better book deal because they’re more legit. A hardcore base, people who pre-order and review, really makes a difference. Just a thought, if you hadn’t. You may specify why you’d not recommend kids reading though, if it’s gore or language or something sexual. Those things can turn off certain readers of any age, so it’d be a useful addition. I’m really glad you told me about the general tone and that you were bummed it was over. I hardly ever stop reading a book, unless it’s absolutely stressing me out; I have a weird sense of duty or something. Probably spillover from work. 😅 Thanks for letting me know it’s not one of the bad ones. Stay mythical. 😜
Yes no thumbs down yet. Rhett & link best thing on RU-vid. Always have been always will. I remember finding out about them from their old tv show commercial kings. Anyone ever seen it. Greatness
Dirty Dangler Are you addressing me? I’m not sure. If yes, I didn’t see or feel any call out. Sorry for any confusion! Anyway, I never watched the TV commercial kings. The Red House ad my sister showed me was a RU-vid video. Edit: I didn’t realize your original post was asking a question since it didn’t have a question mark. But reading it again it is framed as a question, which I completely missed. 😅
Dirty Dangler oh no. I perceived no rudeness at all. I’m grateful for your care for other persons in the comments. We are all people and I hope more of us in the comments are as gracious to others. I’ve had people be rude and even threaten violence on social media to me so I don’t want to say I’m immune to rudeness but I still think your remark was very un-rude. Aaaanyway, all is well
Jen quit. I read that from her Insta. That was sad, because she was my favourite too. I mean Stevie is great, but so was Jen. And I miss the Mailday-Song and segment.
Amara Jordan his hair looks like a huge mess and he looks pale and kinda greasy overall. (I say this with love because I actually normally think he’s v attractive)
