He’s not entirely wrong, while yes the person doing the move has to deliver it in a way for the seller to make a good sell while also keeping them a bad sell can hurt the move even if the guy doing it does his job perfectly
Bro sold tf out of that move by jumping at just the right moment. Big props to him and all the wrestlers out there who always sell and sell well their opponents finishing move, even if it is just a generic spear.
This was at UWE in Cadillac, MI back in 2011. A bunch of us were watching through the curtain and all jumped and yelled at this. I still remember someone looking at Gameboy's feet when he came through the curtain and saying, "Just wanted to see if your boots stayed on."
And after that Gore, japanese people took him and dragged him to a car, never appearing ever again. Some people say that they were taking about Copyright issues.
Wrestling is a choreographed dance and when executed in this fashion, you'd never know the difference between real and worked. Thats what its all about. That was a perfectly executed spear lol. Ive never seen a better one
R-Truth should win next year's Rumble, he deserves a huge main event, I don't know how much say he has in the stuff that WWE gives him but he always looks like he's having the time of his life, and the build up to Mania would be priceless
Oh my God, that looks somewhat reminiscent of Goldberg's spear animation from WWE SmackDown! Here Comes The Pain! So damn impactful and devastating! 🔥🔥
Nobody does the spear/GORE! better than Rhino. He deserved so much more when he made it to the WWF/E. He should have easily been Heavyweight Champion and one of the top stars.
I don't think there's even really a debate about best spear user. There was just so much aggression in Rhino's. Only person I can buy using it as a finisher.
I'll never forget seeing you and Val Venis in a PT Cruiser stopped behind me in traffic after leaving a live show in my home town. I must've been 17 years old and my brother was driving. I jumped out of the car and asked you signed my cap which you gracefully did, whereas Val wasn't having it lol.
He jumped right before the hit, making it look like he took him off is feet. Sells really well. Goldberg ran through people, which made it look so painful...and it probably was since he was a terrible worker.
