Hey, glad you enjoyed the video. I'm lightly tapping on the touchscreen of the Lumix S1 to pull focus from foreground to background. Thanks for watching! KH
Great review Kriss. I know that location well in Snowdonia as I grew up in that area ! Regarding time-lapses, I use a Panasonic Lumix GX8 - cannot find anywhere an answer if there is a cable to connect this camera to the ROV - or should I just use the built in interevelometer on the GX8 ?
Thanks for the kind words. Yes there is a cable port on the Rhino for this function. If you're going to be using slow shutter speeds then that would be the best route as the slider won't move whilst your exposing each image. KH
Have you come across a problem keeping the slider level when it’s on a tripod? When I use it, it’s only level around where the mount is and then it slightly leans whatever side it’s on
Hi Lyon, I have yes - but have only encountered this issue when using lightweight travel orientated tripods. On decent sturdy tripods i've not had any isssues. Thanks for watching! KH
@@chrissteph123That's disappointing. I was just about to buy one of these to use on interview shots but I don't want to have to keep my iPhone connected to it during the entire interview.
I have one. Works great. But It would have made people more happy and would seem more professional if they just used an Arca type plate. And had 1/4 - 20 screw holes at each end of the slider for duel tripod use. It's irritating, and I come to the problem of having to buy more stuff now just to use the slider with more variety than on the ground. Or on a table.
Did you ever find out? I found that mine would be dead whenever I needed it because the battery would magically drain itself with the slider turned off. I’ve found it a pretty frustrating, because it means waiting for it to charge (it won’t operate while charging). It’s garbage.
