Challenging corrective surgery here. 4 days post op. Because of the previous butchery of my nose by Julius Neumann in Philadelphia, actually performed by students I had an incredible amount of scar tissue. My excellent surgeon has me in Hyperbaric oxygen treatment to assure maximum healing and minimal scarring. Every day brings astonishing results 👍.

Hi Dr. Yoo, Thank you for this video! May I ask if there is a possibility to give structure to the bridge of the nose and reducing the alar flaring without having to increase the projection of the nose forward? Thank you so much!!!

Hi Kelly Nguyen In patients with thin skin and wide tip cartilage, it is possible to create more definition to the nose without projecting the nose forward. However in patients with thick skin and weak cartilage, often some degree of projection is necessary to create a more definition. Warm regards

Dear Dr. Yoo, thank you for the video. I am sorry for a stupid question, but I just had a rhinoplasty to fix my nasal endoscopy with 30o endoscope, which revealed septal deviation, turbinate hypertrophy and allar collaps. Can it eventually go back to the way it was ? Thank you for taking time to read it.

By the way my nose was broken, reshaped, tissue from my scalp was used along with cartilage from my ear. Maybe that's why its taking so long to see final results through the swelling thats left?

Its been two years, I'm still not seeing the full results. Still a little swollen. But I can tell my nose is beginning to show some results as time passes. I'm Black. Is this common, over two years of swelling?

Hi Miss Longhair While most patients will see their final results in 1-2 years, in cases with very thick and sebaceous skin it is possible that further refinement may occur. Warm regards

Hi Theoutsmarter Once your nose is healed, it will be stronger than it was before surgery. However, as you know, hockey can be an extremely physical sport and your nose will be at risk of serious injury no matter how far along you are in your healing. A face mask may be an appropriate precaution. Normally after rhinoplasty full activity may be resumed 4 weeks after surgery. Warm regards

Oh god my septoplasty operation is done before 3 months but still it is not recover my frontal head is not allow me to talk freely i think inflammation is in my frontal head I dont know why this is happening plz somebody advice me why this is happening I feel relax and how much it is take to recover 😫😢
