Had surgery on my nose and throat for sleep apnea as an adult. While under full anesthesia the surgeon learned that my airway nearly completely closed while so relaxed. So he took out my tonsils as well. This procedure of the tubes and packing was left for longer than ther next day. Don't remember how long. But my mother died unexpectedly right before my surgery and in passing the surgeon said to me: "oh, don't cry while these are in. It makes the area swell". Yeah, that was rough.

It was like watching a clown car empty out.

Omgosh i had this same surgery when i was 16yrs old. Removing that packing is flipping horrible. Ugh.

If I ever get that put me on some sleeping medication so I dont wake up or imma start screaming
