RHODE ISLAND PART 1 🌸🍋 Newport, Mystic, & Top Things to Do!

We are back on another adventure, a New England Summer Road Trip! This time we are taking on New England for SUMMER & we are so excited to share! 😍🐚🦞🌊🌸🇺🇸
On day 1 we arrived early in NYC, grabbed our car & made our way along the coast. We made a stop in Rye, NY & Mystic, CT along our way to Rhode Island. Mystic took us by surprise & was such a great town to stop in! Great shopping, restaurants, & views! It is truly an incredible place to see! We finally make it to our main stop for this leg of the trip in Newport, Rhode Island. We are specifically here for a few days & during the week of the 4th of July! We thought where else to be for Independence Day than the most patriotic state in the country! Guys, it does not disappoint! We do all the best things to do in Newport - a little shopping and eat some incredible food!
We have so much to share on this trip & so much so that we had to break this Rhode Island vlog into 2 parts so stay tuned for part 2! Hope you guys enjoy!

Awesome video! We have been planning a trip for October where we will start in New York and drive up the cost to Boston. We have plans to stop in Greenwich (close to Rye, NY), Mystic and Newport, so it seems like our trip will be pretty similar to yours (other than it being in the fall)! I'll definitely be watching some of your other videos. Thanks for sharing!

Love seeing the New England videos! I’m from Boston, so Newport is easily accessible. Always try to do the cliff walk a few times of year. Love Brenton Point for the sunset and Red Parrot for dinner. It’s crazy how those are all private (enormous) houses down Ocean Ave 😱 I’ve been there a few times when people who live there are having parties and there is security, valet parking, etc. - it’s crazy! Can’t wait to see more New England videos! Also, KJP pronounces his name like “Kyle.” :)

Native Bristolian here... can't wait to see your episode about our parade! I've only missed one in my 42 years haha. I was laughing when you talked about how early people set up.... So many people still camp out overnight and no one enforces it, its wild. 🤣🤣

Ok how much did you pay the seagulls to act in that shot out the window! We LOVED the vlog and definitely want to explore more of Newport next time! We only had a few hours when we were there. Can’t wait to watch the rest of the. Also James after drinking the lemonade 🥶😵

I live here in Rhode Island and yes, the coast is beautiful. I really loved your New Hampshire and Vermont videos. A fave place of ours. I’ve been trying to ask Meagan what cross body she was using up north in the fall because I plan on heading up and want a nice bag. Plz share with me where you got it if possible😊

I’m so happy you enjoyed your trip up here! Ty for the bag info as well! There is sooo much to see around this area. You both hit the highlights for sure but while you were in mystic you missed (I believe) Mystic Village and that has allot of unique shops, places to eat as well as Mystic Aquarium. Hotels around the area as well. I love the way you both enjoy traveling and your videos are amazing❤

Rye is one of the westchester suburbs (30 mins from nyc). If you have money, thats one of the suburbs to move to. It super ritzy.. .btw, le pain bakeries are all over nyc.

Yes, when looking up Rye we saw it is one of the wealthiest towns in the state! We were so shocked that we just happened upon it! And thanks for the info on Le Pain, we had no idea! Thanks for watching!

Fact check: As a native Rhode Islander, Del’s lemonade is a STATEWIDE thing. Definitely not associated just with *Newport*. They are literally everywhere. Parking lots, random intersections, literally every fair or event, random neighborhoods. Also, the headquarters are actually located in CRANSTON. So that would’ve been more accurate. Also, Mystic is most definitely not a *summer town*. Mystic is way more busy in the winter and is pretty well known for their Christmas displays.
