Amazing to hear such an impressive analysis from someone who lived so far away in space and time from Rhodesia. And so pleasing to feel your passion for the subject. Well done and thank you very much. Great stuff. Respect.
Very professional, and substantive. If you ever had the time and resources, I would ask something about 1SADF, 2 RECCES, 32nd BATTALION, 4 Koevoet /GREEN BOOTS, I just have a small request, Could you leave these photos with the equipment longer?
Absolutely loving your videos. Enough detail to be educational, but not too much to become boring. I look forward to your future videos. So keep them coming!
The Pattern 70 does have a different belt that can be used. It has snaps around it for securing the pouches, which is why they all have snaps at the rear. Also P70 kit wasn't used that often. Just some components, or a few sets that may have been donated by SADF units operating in Rhodesia.
If you don’t have boots yet or are still looking for Rhodesian boots there’s a company called What Price Glory and they have a reproduction pair for $135
Good video, also why are some of your videos on Uniform impressions, taken down, like the other day the " Serbian 1990s" video you made a while ago was taken down?
I separated the channels to English only and Russian only. So I removed all my English videos from the old channel and posted them here on Red Ivan Airsoft ENG channel. Please re subscribe to this channel. For more videos in English.
The eyelets don’t need to go around all the way because they adjust the size and there is no need to make them go too small because you probably won’t find anyone in service that is that size
It is extremely uncommon, So saw only one picture that may potentially be p58. It was issued 6 years prior to UDI so it didn’t make its way to Rhodesia, maybe someone brought couple of them on their own, but I wouldn’t use it for reenactment.
You can use some pouches I gotta keep mine practical for airsoft so I got a 58 pattern belt and yoke and I got 2 Rhodesian FAL mag pouches 3 South African ones and some communist style ones and some American ones it’s not 100% accurate but it will do for airsoft
No one’s really gonna ask unless like I go to a living history advent likey hood of me going to that is zero no one’s gonna ask but if you want it 100% accurate get South African stuff
Mate I cannot recall too well, it was around 45 years ago when I was involved there. I think some of the AK's I saw had slings, but not all of them, personal choice, I think. Obviously all of the RPD's had them.@@K33ev2
@@jefferydahmersglasses4771 probably, but I was talking about reliability of the real life Mamba. Gun Jesus has a nice video on the history of mambas failure. I recommend it 🤙🏻
