Mebbe it's the fact that not too many really set out to see what they can actually achieve??? (They're not ALL good, y'know - although Cor Glanaethwy ain't too bad at all).
This brings back memories. I played Sancho his squire many years ago. In fact when he sings this, sancho also joins in and if I remember rightly cries out "Yes Master!" before joining in the last chorus.
The Impossible Dream has almost become Rhydian's signature tune as he sings it at every one of his concerts. Personally I prefer that he sings it on his own.
My, my !! how rude... it's a "performance", they didn't marry...they are absolutely magnificent ! Together, in twos, in ones.... please Bee, buzz off....
Sorry - but the vibrato of both of those brothers (especially the baritone) is really uncontrolled to the point it is totally over the top. I don't think they are nearly as good as they think they are.
Robert Burgess So your only response is to make fun of my username rather than address my comment in the slightest? And let me guess - you consider yourself a good person... oh the irony!
Truly? You can express your opinion but we are different. Don’t you see how individually perceived is beauty and the Devine? These brothers have brought me back into listening music. I am so inspired by them. I think what moves me is their blending of their voices and the power of the voices- do they need microphones?
Richard and Adam are gifted performers with absolutely perfect voices. Rhydian is a nice young man but he does not and can not perform at their level. Mary O'Donnell has ear wax buildup and the I.Q. of a potato!
Maybe not so much ego as a little too much showiness? Richard and Adam are more relaxed and low key. They're very secure in themselves, which is part of what makes them so lovely.
Takeme Rightnow When Richard and Adam make a sandwich, they put the bread on the outside and the lunch meat on the inside. You need to quit putting the lunch meat on the outside and the bread in the middle.
