Yes! I thought about this too. I considered an idea to have tutorial text pop up during the starting DJ School part. It would explain how the time freezes work. Like you said, how you continue playing after it says "Go!" that's the key in the remix. Also, the time freeze always happens before your input. It's consistent in that way. If it were possible, I'd imagine it being like Spaceball in the original Tengoku. Basically, you would have to get the first DJ School cue right a couple of times before the remix smoothly continues into the rest of its gameplay. That being said, in general I tried to design the remix so it starts off slow and gives players a chance to get used to what's going on. Basically, teaching you through gameplay before going "all out" later on. I'm sure it would still take practice and getting used to though. And small FYI, I imagined this remix as one of those post-game remixes. Like a Remix 8 or Remix 9 before the final remix. Anyway, thanks for your comment!

I also feel as if there should be an audio que before the time stop, such as a few small donks, or a bell, or a “ready”

I’m imagining your inputs don’t count when the screen is grey so it would eat the input and you could try again. DJ school is a stylus game so how that would work is weird but it’s probably fine.

Not impossible, just very, very difficult. You’ll have to rely on audio cues more than visual.

@@theawesomepanda1lance241 not really, since you can hear the cue that tap trial froze, and then you hear the cue of senior karate man, so you keep on hearing the next games until you hear the go! that sounds when a game unfreezes, and the last game that froze was tap trial, so.. definitely a little confusing and convoluted, but totally possible blind
