I’d just add some visual indicator for when a screen freezes or unfreezes, like a small countdown along the top before it happens. Also then the screens are moving all over the place it’s probably intended to be really hard to track but I feel like it’s way too unfair

This is a cool idea, I think it'd be fun to play around with it a bit more: in particular, with the multiple-game segments I think it could be cool to either cut out the setup bit so that you have to react to the situation on the frozen beat, or make it so that the screen goes dark when it unfreezes so you have to remember what inputs you have to do based on the setup.
