It's 2 AM on a Sunday and I'm watching some farmer epicly harvesting vegetables which scream "I'M GAY!" on a game literally based on musical senses made for the Nintendo: Dual Screen console.
Once I was so absorbed in this mini game that I forgot to grab my bag before getting off the bus and that's why I don't let myself play rythem heaven when riding the bus anymore lol
Maggie Burton not gonna lie or try to undermine, I always felt that this was the worst rhythm heaven song. It’s just felt... wrong. The music wasn’t catchy or interesting and the remix made it even worse
@@creative_commander4973 I totally get that, it was one of the more bland songs, there wasn't much to it. I guess as a younger kid I thought the lizards were so darn cute and the idea of the instruments coming to life and being and love...I don't know, I guess it just appealed to me. But each to their own!

1:43 I remember fucking up on that last one and I whipped my ds at the wall and broke the screen part but it still worked, You had to hold the top screen up with something though.
When I was younger, I played this game for ours, but never took the time to actually practice the teachings this game throws. Now that I am a musician, I want to play this game again. The lockstep game is this the best example for rhythm practice 39:07
@@edgybubblegum6404 some songs are 110 bpm, which is a good timing for cpr? I think I saw a similar comment like that, but idk how this game would be useful for medical information other than that…
@아아으아아 You should go for it! Even if you're not the greatest, the point is you're having fun. Plus, it's kinda funny to see the animations when mistakes are made. It's all up to you. 100% would watch. 😁👍
I never had a DS but I remember playing the display one at toys r us and I was playing this game for like 2 minutes and I had no idea what to do and I didn’t know how to leave the game and I remember it was on the first level with the green background and those white things and then I was watching this random RU-vid video and the guy was talking about this game and showed a picture and I instantly recognized it
@@juliasmith9077 Ahh well it's really worth it, the 3ds game has most of the good ones!. Good question.. I like samurai slice 2, the dazzles, and just the remixes in general :P
@@IceBlueLugia Well I rather have a character tagt can utilize lots of the rhythm heaven game rather than Karate Joe being a Ryu/Ken and putting the wandering samurai as another sword character
I do think Karate Joe would function well, but even crazier would be one rep from each RH game! Wandering Samurai from Tengoku, Karate Hoe from this, and then Marshall and Tibby from Heaven and Megamix. If I had to pick one, definitely Joe though.
@@bonieriborg4921 from what i got, the barista won't help you in the 6th remix as it is the remix you need to beat for getting the other part of Rhythm heaven.
Throwing this on in the background while I do work is a great nostalgia trip, might have to pick up my old DS and play this again later, thanks for the compilation!
This was the first ds game I played that I owned. Well, it was originally my cousin's, but he was like, "since you play it so much, I'll let you have it homie"
As someone who prefer the English cues, especially the narmy ones, (and pose!) Thank you. Though i cant understand the logic of "you cant play with English cues because you suck." Wut?
English Version elitists. They dumb lol. I don't dislike most of the english cues, and most of the english vocals are great tbh (though I prefer japanese). It's just english fan club and dazzles that make my ears grate IMO
@@overset5159 Both are better in Japanese. It's just the English singer, while not _awful_ just sounds like she's bored and the lyrics are very cringy.
1:05:00 I never quite enjoyed the difficulty mountain remix 8 is, but goodness me, I absolutely love the way the drop builds up to Lockstep then Lockstep builds up to the drop.
