If anyone is wondering about the piano piece at 3:55, it's Chopin's Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2. It's a great piece to learn if you don't suck like me lol. I only have like 9 measures of it down.
Ahhhh I miss watching these guys so much. Centerville was ALWAYS the one competition I always looked forward to when I went to Milford. Just so we could see these guys.
This is honestly the best marching show I have ever seen that didn't have classical or jazz music. Hopefully some drum corps wil be "inspired" to do some modern music after this!
I can’t help but still come back to this show, and watch it over and over with the same feelings I had that night watching them at finals. Shame they didn’t take the 1 spot. Pulse was amazing, but I feel lacked the energy and the creativity this show produced and put out… and how about the look of those Dynasty’s?! What an era.
this is probably my first and only post for a video. but I just have to give credit where it's due. Rhythm X's performance was just outstanding! Blew me away! Thanks BDdrumline08 for posting this. Kudos to you my friend and to Rhythm X as well.
@tdwprulezd00d9494 Which is the same piano piece played at the end of United States of Eurasia on the album, so in this instance you could still consider it part of that song. I think Muse technically called that part "Collateral Damage" because they had some sound effects and stuff going on as well.
Butterflies and hurricanes, United states of Eurasia, I have no clue what the piano piece was, maybe one of the exogenesis symphonies, and the knights of cydonia.
@griflicious Actually the snares/tenor harnesses are made so they don't have J Bars so this could happen, my school has them and they are really awesome lol.
@Inspadave I love everything about this comment. Totally agree. The thing that irritates me is that the drumming feels so lick oriented that it has minimal relation to the actual music in the foreground.
@miladu on youtube you can look up whatever song and type like guitar track, drum track, bass track, vocal track and see if they have it. then just leave the vocal track out and layer the others, that would be the only way i know of. im not very technologically advanced in stuff like that. lol so yea hope it helped
@zxl345 Well I haven't seen Muse's live show but I must say, if I was Muse's manager I would definately consider taking those guy on tour with them. It'd be a huge crowd pleaser.
