@@Guntalkz The DY9 uses a Glock 19 barrel Which is the same barrel for the 19X and 45 The Glock 17 uses a barrel that is 1/2 longer than a 19 / 19X / 45 and has different locking lugs than a 19 /19X/ 45 & DY9
This was very helpful ,you should definitely try to get a top down camera view for easier comparison. i found you over on reddit and so far you are the only one who is bringing attention to these cool guns. Also love the message of peace and kindess at the end stay cool
@@Avriuse97 I’ve got a lot of plans for this channel as far as cameras go. I have another video coming out on the company that makes these. Thanks for the support.
Hello. The height for the DY9 is listed as 4.56". Usually my pinkie hangs off the bottom of pistols which are less than 5" high, but of course it really depends on the spacing from the bottom of the trigger guard to the bottom of the magazine or mag well, as the case may be. Looks like the magwell adds space on the Dy9 and the listed height may not include that. Bottom line, do your three fingers including pinky fit comfortably above the bottom of the magwell?
I am picking up one. AS far as holsters go. I run all poly frames in a Bianchi Carry Lok #82 with mechanical active retention. Its a dream holster. The holster is for an M&P 2.0, 9mm 4.25 Brl length. It carries my Glocks, FN,XD,M&P all the same way with great fit. A great universal holster for every brand.
@@Guntalkz both if possible, they are basically the same price so if like to see which is better. I picked up the g3c today and I'm wondering if i should have went DY9 Instead. It would make a great video.
I appreciate your comparison, however from a viewer point of view we'd love to see more of the table full of the subject materiel and less of your roof. Even when showing off the weapons, it's just glimpses. They should be the main topic. Lower your camera view or widen your lens.
@@truereality620 I’m working on getting more camera set ups. I’m new to this and it’s not actually cheap to purchase all the things o want to improve the things you mentioned. It will be changing over time to make things better.

@@Rayvisin haven’t shot one yet. I’m curious how many more of these cheaper guns will work just fine. I’m looking forward to testing a lot of these out and being able to show the audience the performance. As long as this platform allows me to.
Rocks are tooled per lot. usually 26-43 frames per lot, depending on the make/model. Only about 6-7 people tool the gun to fit and function. one person tries a test fire and if it ignites, it gets a pass. then they send them for finishing, they remeasure. then one more person test fires the gun, again to make sure it works. they use their brand, standard ball or flat nose ammo. the guns accuracy standard is no more than a 10-inch group at 40 yards. Must hit target to pass. By comparison, Wilson guarantees 2-inch groups at 40 yards. They won't let a gun leave their factory unless you can bullseye something. Rock on the other hand just wants the gun to work and that's about it. Also, very few brands (brands I deem worthwhile), are building their guns for consistent overpressure(+P) ammo use. Some only take standard ammo, as in leaded or fmj/tmj, with a advisory that the weapon should use "+P" sparingly. but forget hollow points, wadcutter and semi, snake shot, and anything that requires a throated barrel usually won't feed correctly. The Rock 1911s are really a bad scam because just about every other 1911 manufacturer either throats their barrels or uses metals and materials that can withstand more powerful and different types of ammo. The Rock 1911 FS standard manual literally says the gun only safely fires 230gr ball ammo. No +P. Yes, of course, this is not 100%. But the fact that it's there is a red flag. RIA makes great guns for pacific island countries law enforcement and their militaries, not so great for Americans who demand all boxes be checked.
