Today, we had the first official day of RIAT 2024! It was a great day with lots of brilliant displays such as the Spanish navy harrier, danish F16, Brazilian KC90 and Qatars stunning F15 making its debut at the air show, the weather was also brilliant making for a great day, and I can’t wait to see what tomorrow has in store for us! Stunning this Charlie. It was the C17 into ringway in lockdown we started chatting. I do a lot of different gigs on my channel but it’s great to see a subject I enjoy just getting better and better each year by yourself. And the filming is getting better too with how you do everything now. It’s difficult chasing these incredible pilots around the sky but I’m supporting local because you pretty darn good!!! I hope you have a magnificent weekend Charlie. Paul 👍

@@planespottingringway Your films are just getting better bud. The Blackpool airport/ airshow was when I think we spoke last. I wax scared when all the lockdown happened as I was on my own. And I’ve got folks not of vest of health. Then the C17 started coming in and we had some great chats and for me it’s like wow over a million views and let’s kick on and put up great colours. I’m not that worried anymore! I hope you have a super time there. Paul 👍👍

Nice video, but doesn't it make you sick when you see aircraft still flying with other countries ,and yet our government a military have sold as part to those countries or scrapped them

Harrier especially and a superb display by the Spanish pilot.And we have the F35 ha ha😂

We are still one of the richest countries on the planet and one of the few who spend more than the required amount on defence. The Harrier was a fantastic aircraft, but outdated now . I'm from the Lightning, Phantom and Buccaneer generation, but I doubt the RAF would want them today.

@@3204clivesinclair I'm also from that generation so ask yourself why do the military an government keep scrapping jets that other countries keep flying years after ours have gone the jaguar gone now a company wants to buy all the air frames tornado gone Germany was desperate for spare parts so guess where they got the parts and someone I know has told me so far 40 typhoon jets have also gone the harrier jump jet gone yet America still use them on front line,

@@joginns778 One, other countries don't get involved in as many conflicts. Two, they don't have the defence budget of the UK. Third, we make money from selling parts, or full airframes. Do you not want the best equipment available for our armed forces? Many Spitfires are in a flying condition around the planet, why don't we buy them all back for the RAF. I have fond memories of the Bell 47G I flew, but I would t want to fly it today in place of a A109
