When I was a kid in 1977, I watched the then new f-15a dog fight over gila bend in Arizona. My brother was a instructor pilot teaching the IDAF pilots how to fly them. Nothing and I mean nothing even came close to out maneuvering those eagles. They turned like forklifts in the sky. Natural born killers they are...

Remarkable manoeuvrability considering the F-15QA lacks vectored thrust and it’s twin F110-GE-129 engines’ upgraded thrust is apparent with that astonishing steep climb on takeoff. It’s VNE of Mach 2.9 at sea level is crazy. Edit : “Get in the right-hand lane when it’s safe to do so!”

The Typhoon, Gripen, Rafale (I know it wasn't in the video) and the F16 are beautiful aircraft. The F15, while not as aesthetically pleasing in my opinion, is an absolute BEAST of an aircraft

F-15 ???? In a test combat it lost all dog fights against SU-27. SU-35 is the recent, much upgraded version of it (operated in Ukraine war). This video shows its fantastic maneuverability contrary to aerodynamic rules, performing extreme complex figures, nearly standing still in the air or rotating around vertical axis. Now around 6:04 or so, why didn’t “Prince“ Harry and Meghan Markle show up with DiCaprio, Clooney, and the rest of the ass clown posse to discuss how bad it is for the environment to vent fuel as they each had their pilots fly them in separately on their own 737’s or G what the hell ever’s??? The horror, horror….

Considering it's relative vintage the F15 ia a truly phenomenal beast. Iconic. Only time I've seen a more impressive display was Captain Sergey Bogdan in SU57 Felon & that's a 5th gen with thrust vectoring capability.

E=Mc2?...Thrust vector from rear (nozzles) Or fwd fuselage canards?. Cost too?, each & maint/usefulness/longevity???. Power, flaps/slats/elevators always in play...what is better, cheaper? & in what terms?!?!😊

I had no idea the F16 was THAT much lighter than the F15 and F18. Almost HALF the weight (clean) and a solid 10,000 more pounds of thrust than the F18. I also didn't know the F16 is a 9G jet and the F18 taps out at around 7. Now the new F15 is just a beast. It has the same overall shape to the airframe but that's just about all it shares with its predecessor. Now if we could please give the F35 another 15,000lbs of thrust which its slated to receive by 2030 and take some weight out of the raptor while adding 360 degree thrust vectoring that'd be wonderful. Thanks Uncle Sam.

This is in reference to the Qatari F-15 demo. Was that pilot actually trying to break the F-15 or was he just putting it through its paces?? I would not consider that particular maneuver a tail slide. It looked to me like he went up into the vertical and stopped then leveled out.

The F15 was far more impressive than I thought it's capabilities were. Not as agile as the SU 35 (which I have seen) but the US know how to rectify this if ever needed.

04:27 - Fun fact, the "whine" sound comes from pulling back the power, changing the airflow to the air intakes and engine. It's like when you blow into an empty glass bottle to get that singing sound.

Awesome video ! Just want to ask anyone on here .. I'm going to RIAT next year for the first time so I would like some advice .. I want to go for all the days , so can anyone tell me if there's a good choice of hotels / can you camp nearby, is there quite a lot of stuff to do on the ground ? ( The person I'm going with isn't much of an avgeek) .. and are there lots of places to get food and stuff ? Appreciate any help 😊

They're never spectacular at these. We have been decieved, let's leave... Pilots never push hard, being afraid of falling onto the crowd. Not to mention that for a plane to fly low is the most dangerous thing. They don't have to physically be there. What should be done is them film them with another plane at altitude.

4th gen jets are just soo cool. Particularly impressed by the maneuverability of the FA18 and the F15.

Why is it over all the years I went to the tat and over major air show from the 90s onwards we would never see an f15 display for like 25 years, even tho fairford was just down the road, thoroughly disappointed I missed that now I’m in Australia

My first air display was a couple of de Haviland Vampires doing lazy loops over the beach at Rhyll, North Wales around 1950. These guys have some way to go before they can match them.

Again at 3:55 we see a UFO fly over the top of the jet from top screen to bottom. Its so fast we only see it in 4 frames. Absolutely mind boggling!
