This is what your brain looks like when you're trying to remember a song that shares a similar rhythm to other songs so when you start trying to use the lyrics to remember the initial song you end up mixing up the lyrics from the other similar songs.

Despite it clearly being a shitpost, it has the ideal story structure. There's exposition, the introduction of a conflict, rising action, the climax, and finally the falling action.

Something that I loved about this vid is that when Coach runs to the saferoom, he does it like a football player and Nick runs like a felon running away from the cops. It was a neat detail.

Because sincere effort is what made this shitpost into true art, I felt sincere warmth at Coach sharing with Nick at the end. Nick seemed frustrated and angry at his lack of sensory enjoyment (one might say he couldn't even smell his own knees), and Coach readily handed over some delicious food when Nick indicated he was just confused and hungry ("hey, you, what do you see?" read to me like Nick genuinely didn't know why Coach was enjoying the plate of ribs so much). The broomstick in the boat even feels like a red herring for Coach to fight Nick off, but... nope. Sharing food with someone is what resolves the tension. Love it.

From about 2:16 onwards, this genuinely triggers real insane emotion in me

I love Neil Cicirega songs. It feels like he takes you on a journey and this video does that so wonderfully. I know this must have taken so much work and it shows. Truly impressive and a treat to watch. I look forward to whatever comes next.

This perfectly encapsulates the surrealism that this album was so focused on creating. Neil's stuff is always surreal, but Mouth Dreams made it a motif. Thank you for making this, you absolutely nailed it!

Ok, don't get me wrong, this animation looks fantastic, but does anybody else think that zombie nick actually works surprisingly well?

Its absolutely fantastic to watch this video in 0.5x Speed and see how well each and every single facial expression is done so meticulously. This is on level with Valve's TF2 SFM's they made. I have honestly never seen that much detail in a SFM since those videos until now. And what better then one of Neil's songs to go along with it. Absolute masterpiece, I really hope to see more like this.

I haven't been captivated by an animation to this extent in a long, long time- it's genuinely, utterly beautiful. The sheer expression you were able to put into each expression, the slow build up of the music and tension to the climax, everything. As long as you enjoy it, please continue to do what you do, this kind of art is what makes life worth living

Without a shadow of a doubt, one of if not *the* best SFM videos I have ever seen, it's absolutely incredible - spectacularly done, you made all these songs that are *so* different mesh together so well, and made an actually coherant story out of it too. It's incredible, plain and simple, and I hope you're extremely proud of it.
