what i love about him is the front foot defending. He is proactive in defending so assured in his ability that he goes for the hunt and rarely misses. All italy needs now is a defender that complements his agressivness with a cool composed game reading defending....a sweeper to mop up after the choas of Calafioris rampage
Calafiori , c'est le nouveau maldini , il me rappelle ce très grand défenseur dans tous les aspects , d'abord ils sont tous les deux italiens , gaucher , la même coiffure , la même facon de jouer ( passe precise et clée qui casse les lignes , dribles , apports offensif , joueur élégant , capacité à faire des tacles très propre , capable de jouer défenseur central dans une défense à deux ou à trois , même de jouer latéral gauche
We, Italy, have waited for a long time for a player like a Scirea, Baresi, Maldini and Nesta, players who were exceptional footballers as well as being outstanding defenders. Usually it's either one or the other, e.g. Chiellini - great defender, but not great technically, and Bonucci - solid technically and a fine passer, but a little suspect in defense. Calafiori, like some of our greatest legends, appears to be excellent at almost everything, one of those players who can do a job in any outfield position.
Nesta not so much technically, Chiellini and Bonucci great great defender and more importantly they hunger to score and do everything to pushback, you also forgot to mention Cannavaro the great.. and this one, Calafiori i agree he’s a complete defender are going to Juventus (my badge) 😊

@@OzSaudarnaI could see it happening, he reads the game so well and is always in the right positions, as well as having a great touch and an eye for a pass.Those attributes also make him a perfect inverted wing back like zinchenko was
@@JoeKolorovski yeah I agree. It just seems there is so much more to his game than defensive interceptions. He showed it in Euro 2024. You never know what a manager could be cooking based on how they see the game… 🤔
Basicnya dia LB, tp di ubah menjadi cb sama Motta. Makanya permainannya dominan attack, dan sukses membawa Bologna 4 besar. Waktu d Roma dia menjadi LB murni.
Regardless of the team he moves to, I hope he continues his great performance. I am tired of watching defenders that people consider legends, but in reality they are nothing. I miss watching a defender make me wait for my team to lose the ball so I can see what he will do and enjoy. But this is amazing and will make me watch him in defense and attack haha
Sono Italiano seguo il calcio tutti i giorni ma non sapevo chi era fino all' autogol contro la Spagna, sinceramente non credevo nemmeno che fosse nel giro della Nazionale. In Italia parlano sempre dei difensori delle grandi squadre, comunque non mi sembra tutto quel fenomeno, é un giocatore comune, forse il campionato europeo gli sta dando grandi stimoli perche vendendo questo video é un normalissimo centrale difensivo della noisissima serie A.
