This is how the rich can symbiotically coexist with the poor and they both win. If every business had such a model, we won't have poor people any more. Just like one wise man said "The world has enough for everyone's needs, but not everyone's greed," Mahatma Gandhi. Shared wealth/knowledge/world is the future for humanity.
I am so excited that you are featuring Grow For Me. I am in the US and My husband and I are proud Sponsors of “Grow For Me” and we invested in Soy Beans. It is nice to see Lorraine on video. “Grow For Me” is for real and we like the idea we don’t have to get our hands dirty, We have plans to invest in additional crops. Thanks for sharing.
Well done Ghana! I’m in Poland right now. I often see a commercial praising a certain popular chocolate made from Ghanaian cocoa beans; they always highlight that it’s the Ghanaian cocoa. I look forward to seeing other agricultural products from Ghana e.g., rice, even on the Polish TV (responsibly sourced). 😊
Will soon join the investing business. The gov don't have to ban importation of anything, all we need is to grow more, bring down prices and that's the only way to stop importation of rice, tomatoes etc
Congratulations guys. You are on the right way.... Believe in your selves. Step by step you will be there on top. African countries needs initiative likes that. We need grow up. We need develop our Africa. Hey Vanessa kumby. I'm watching you every time possible. Your job is too great for us. We need see more thinks about our Africa. Thanks for your channel!
Why most rice farmers are still transplanting by hand hardly instead of use mechanized planters? Because they have not find suitable, workable and affordable planters although those planters are excellent, but they have high requests against: 1) Rice seedlings. 2) Paddy field. 3) Operating. Seedlings must standardised and growing in plastic tray. All traditional rice seedlings can not be used. Paddy field must suitable for those planters. Farmers must have superb operating skills. But very few farmers and areas can follow these requests. In the other hand, most of them are too costly for most farmers. Thank you for watching. Mr.Liu
Absolutely. Africans in the diaspora who had good intentions were wiped out by numerous similar ventures in Nigeria. It's short sighted and they contribute to the mistrust of everything there. This business model has the potential to accelerate African agriculture sector if these ventures are real. Like I said I really hope these ones in Ghana are not a Ponzi scheme like the Nigerian ones. Let's see how it plays out in a year or two. Good luck to those who invested.
@@siatta888 Live stock wealth are having issues so I took my money out. I will never touch anything Nigerian the whole Country is a scam and I am Nigerian who is investing in Ghana
Vanessa thank you for such an illuminating content about commercial farming in Ghana. I have followed you since when you only had a little over 50K subscribers but now that thanks to hard work plus the brilliant contents you create your platform is getting serious diaspora attention. Well done young lady and keep up the the great job !!!
this is great content, Vanessa! I hope 1D1F Secretariat is helping them at all levels, particularly the marketing stage . Ministry of Education's school feeding programs should be brought in as well.. I think GCE has taken care of the marketing already.
Very nice one Happy Happy maybe this week. Peaceful greetings to all the viewers here. Thank you very much for uploading, Content creator. Here to support, comment, and like..
Thank you Vanessa for this great content. Can Growforme help with an answer in my example ? A/ If I get 8 units (1 acres) 35$ x 8 = 280$ B/I choose rice as a crop. C/In 6 months, the production of rice should be ready according to the explanation in the video. D/My questions 1. How many bags of rice do I get in 1acre? 2. What is the average price of a bag when traded? 3/ What are the fees that Growforme takes? 4/ What will be my return in $$$ after the fees if I invest for 8 units ?
@air gentille2, they have all the info / breakdown on the website; quite detailed re pricing, costs depending on how many units you sign up for and you can 'play' around with the number of units to see the costing / returns to expect.
@sethorly it’s a long term initiative in order to increase self sufficiency and increase revenue in the country. The dependence of Africans on food imports is more costly.
Is anyone invested with growforme who can share their experience... I've heard about this venture but i'm sitting on the fence on whether to invest or not.
I invested sometime last year in a maize farm, they were transparent about that particular harvest not going to plan. And so my payout was rescheduled. However I am still waiting for my payout that was due 22/10/2021. I will update you if I hear anything else.
I liked the idea until I saw the service charge...why is it sooo high? If an investor is unlucky and get the minimum return, they get nothing back cos it all goes to service charge. Please correct me if I'm wrong especially those of you who have invested in this. I want to be educated on how this works. Thanks
@@kofig3724 it's reasonable if you're going to make a profit on your return but if you're to make the minimum return, it's not really worth it. And their minimum return is below the service charge. That is why I want to enquire from someone who is already in it. You have to weigh the pros and cons. Not saying there shouldn't be a service charge but it shouldn't be higher than the minimum return of the investor. The market is not stable so they should factor all these. Unless they will not take a service charge when your return is low, that I will understand but if that comes out its a no no for me.
@@priscilanti52 sadly businesses cannot operate like that, if returns are low bills still need to be paid so businesses are always a risk. If you can stomach it then go ahead but if not find a safer investment instrument and at this point good luck finding anything with much positive returns that are consistent
how difficult is it to move to ghana or south africa? these are the 2 places im considering moving to and i dont' have a wife native to the land nor do i have a scholarship to study. i simply just wanna settle there and create my new life there because these countries look so amazing. would they give me a visa for this?
Apply for a tourist visa and come check it out for yourself and see if it's for you then you can go through the process of acquiring a permanent residency. All the best.
yall are on a ghana channel here so of course yall would be biased. imo south africa and ghana are neck and neck. Ghana has the friendliest people in africa, it is all around slow paced, which i like, and very little infrastructure and buildings. These things are a plus. South africa got a lot of beautiful women, a lot of amazing natural scenery (nice mountains gorgeous beaches, forests), and has more money making opportunities. I've never been to either country but this is based off my own research. Im planning to take a trip to South africa and Ghana next year
South Africa has better infrastructure, etc. but Ghana has a lot to offer too and there are lots of opportunities to help develop the nation, whilst making good returns too. Ghanaians are also known to be very hospitable. Visit first... Ghana has a scheme that offers a residency permit to African Americans too. Wherever you end up, so long as it is Africa, I am happy. Make sure like everywhere else you have your wits about you.
