I enjoyed rice soup as a child and still do today. Yes, you did add too much rice or your pot is just too small. However, you must try rich porridge, it's very, very delicious.

The dish looks absolutely delicious and I'm sure it tastes just as good, but I did notice that it's missing coconut milk, which is one of my favorite ingredients. However, since it has a lot of carbs, I can only indulge in it while sitting in front of my computer. While I appreciate the creativity that went into making it, I am concerned about the heavy carb content and the potential health risks associated with it. That being said, I love you guys loads! On a different note, rice soup is a staple in Asian cuisine, and I love the unique spin you've put on the dish.
Colaz, you can still put flour in the rice soup if you want to. You can make them long and not too fat (spinners) I think they called them). I don’t see the reason why you fry the chicken, because when you put the chicken in the soup it’s going to change the color and the brown is going to boil off and turn white again.

Colaz, here in America, people have been cooking soup with rice for a very long time. I know some Asians also cook soup that way. My first experience with "rice soup" was in1993 when I first arrived in the US and my then wife cooked me that. I was very pissed and pleaded to her to never put rice in my soup. Soup is my favorite dish and if u don't want me pissed off at you, never put rice in my soup😢...fuljoy doe😂😅😂😅

In Guyana we have soup and rice but it is cook separate. If you have any left over rice. We would place the rice at the bottom of the bowl and put the soup on top of it that I know of.
