you had me at paying your half of the rent. When in a true committed relationship there is no one side, there is the whole as in the couple and they both plow towards a common goal, thus also increasing their connection and love while doing so.

These are solid facts. I started as a creative and then started another business, a coffee roasting company, with my brother and that taught me so much about my creative business. Creatives struggle with a lot of these things you mentioned!

I was trying to explain cost v benefit. It takes some time for some folks to understand that every dime they spend on one thing, they no longer have to spend on something else. I was told I was old and I dont understand that the "creating" was most important. That money will come with followers. At least I tried (with several other folks who are creative for a living) Going to tell them to watch your videos.

Yes I get it. I think I am currently in the stage you were in back in the day. However, I feel that you need to make the following before you are able to work with it. Since I currently have a small following I am not sure how I can use this to create proper cash flow. Nice video btw!

Question for you Evan or anyone who'd like to answer/give some advice. What can you say to someone like me who hasn't picked out a specific thing, market or "lane" and kinda doesn't really have a specific photography lane in mind? I'm 25 by the way, have been doing photography since 2018. I can't say theres any one area or market that I ONLY want to do. Thank you for the video and all you do.

Hey Evan, a couple things I’d like to say. I regret not putting in the time, when I had it, to learn about how to market myself & be profitable. I remember trying appeal to friends & family members by personally creating, framing, and shipping photos so they could have something of mine when they didn’t buy it. I lost money & came to learn most of those folks didn’t care to hang them on their wall. They didn’t see the value when I did but I didn’t know how to show that. Eventually I quit working on that & took an IT course to get a proper job that pays what I needed. I do get asked to do paid photo shoots on the side, but the struggle to be profitable drove me nuts
